Hello everyone. Deer Hunt 2009 has officially ended for me. I don't hunt muzzleloader, so yesterday was it. Opening day, I had a lot of wildlife in by me. It's fun to watch the squirrels, birds, chipmunks, grouse, turkeys, etc. I saw only one deer last Sunday late afternoon, of which I did not get to shoot. My dad had a bad season, seeing no deer.

Angie - I wish I could see the same spots, shown on last night's news, again today. It showed multiple deer strolling across the roads, casually eating in the fields, etc., completely ignoring the TV cameras. Well, today was the start of the season here. Bet those white tails "high-tailed" it out of here.
