I have fully recovered from yesterday's extreme sports (in extreme heat, by the way - 99 degrees!), but I haven't quite recovered from the canteloupe-raspberry daiquiris that we had last night. No bike riding today - busy packing for our trip to Stuart, FL tomorrow.

everyone, back from my weekly visit to the farmers market. Just finished cutting and of course eating some of a wonderful melon, so sweet when they are vine ripened.

Hi, Sue! How is Harry doing?

Harry is doing excellent, better than the last time he had back surgery. His pain is minimal which is good, ice packs are helping a lot along with the pills. The bad thing is he lost so much muscle in his legs, that is why he will need physical theraphy for so long.

I'm happy to hear Harry's doing well, Sue. I suspect he's going to need a great deal of patience in the coming months. Harry.

Good news about Harry, Sue! I know he'll stick with the therapy. Jaime has lost a lot of muscle in his legs because of various conditions, and while he can't walk more than a block, he's found that he can bike. We do the 10-mile round trip to the village and/or beach quite often. He thinks, in More...

...and no, I'm not on commission to the Electra Bike Company, but I probably should be! Three of our friends have bought them based on our recommendation!

Not feeling well today. Was just stacking wood standing next to the log splitter's exhaust. Yuck. Now I'm light headed and sick to my stomach. You wouldn't think that would happen while outside would you? I'm inside now until I feel better.

Just got home from my walk on the beach and there was only two whales this time. One in the water and the other on the beach after the lunch I ate today.

Whoops! I was going to say "there was only one whale then changed it to two but forgot to change was to were! and I was halfway through typing this when I had a friend visit for a coffee.
