Have to admit I tend to hide when the subject/s are contoversial here.

Normally I do the same CP, but just recently I have felt that certain posts belong on other sites and not this one. There is a time and place for everything and I do not feel this is the place to vent one's spleen (as my mother would have said)because your choice of politician is not in power.

I have the house to myself tonight - the boys are out to dinner and to watch a Bell Shakespeare production of The Taming of the Shrew with an all female cast. I was meant to go, but was not super enthused so when Daughter No 2 said she like to go, I willingly dropped out.

Truth is I'm very tired, so an early night will suit me very well.

There is not much that is good on TV tonight, so will cuddle up in bed with a book, and maybe sort of watch The Bill.

Sort of because I'm sure I will nod off befopre it finishes.

I am sorry if you are offended by any my opinions, but I am unsure if the expression of views is what has led to a lowering of apparent interest. I thought maybe it was a LACK of such opinion that had led to that. I rarely do, and only express such a view when I am bombarded from outside by outrages!

Not you Rayray I have no idea as to where your political leanings lie, nor do I wish to know. It is the strong feelings of hatred I feel coming through some of the postings and to my ears it is equal to inciting others to the same feelings. There are politicians I don't like and feel are bad for the world, but this is not the site to be so outspoken.

Disagreeing with the Nobel Committee's choice is not inciting hatred.

And yes, those damned 'discussions' will stifle 'activity' every time.

I understand that Long John Silver is in hospital again with holes in his wooden leg. The surgeon asked if the holes were woodworm. Long John explained that the holes were from his pecking parrot with a fit of temper.
