Ooh cathy did you hear that? five thousand!!!! Being hijacked is more fun than being harrassed Dennis! We bring with us foods from many lands, every alcoholic drink you can think of, and some of us (but not me) are known to be unrivalled belly dancers. Do you all wear white uniforms? With due respect to all members of defence forces, those white outfits are something!!

2 times and no picture. On to medium.
 |  |
and 80% are guys... if that helps. We wear Whites in the summer and Blues (think about the cracker jack kid) in the winter. Now if I'm not in Kansas anymore and you all are in OZ just where the heck am I? (pondering the shores of Aussie... I want to see Sidney one day if I can ever get there.. ya know I had a friend from Mudgee...)
 |  |
That means 20% walk the plank as soon as we get there - we don't like competition, but then they could keep Ted (he might want to go by 'Edward' again),jsherp, bill, etc entertained. So it's going to be summer aboard the USS Eisenhower! You don't have to know or tell us where you are Dennis, as we More...

Hey Robyn, Thanks for taking the time to explain your strategy. It was nice to see about how other people go about solving these addicting puzzles. Do you use the same strategy regardless of the level of the puzzle?
And by the way, I did not get any picture either!
:( I enjoy all of the great pictures. It is like a little bonus when I solve the picture.

I'm glad Susan filled you in about where Oz is - a sailor needs to be able to navigate in all seas!
We have a daily Sudoku in our newspaper, plus there are a number of books, plus a huge number of magazines, like crossword puzzle books. So you see, plenty for the addict. They even make handheld More...

4:26. PICTURE IS MISSING
 |  |
LOL...trust me there isn't not alot of competition on here... so who gets to take me home?
 |  |
what's the secret for doing it under 5 minutes?
 |  |
to Jennipher - yeah, pretty much the same strategy, although it gets a lot more complicated with the tough ones as I can't usually fill in many numbers straight away.
To Susan, do you need a crew to assist with the pirate ship? :-)
 |  |
to Dennis, I've got a row boat. Perhaps I could collect you!!!!
 |  |
3:06 Still no pic
 |  |
5:27 - no picture for me either.
 |  |
Gath: Oh Mighty One: Oh Merciful One:
How about a picture? ANY PICTURE!!!!!!
I don't even look for my poor Rocko anymore. (I figure you are holding out until he is up in the Doggie Kennel in the Sky. ;)
 |  |
Yea!...ok there is it come and get us!.... trust me we have been out here for a good while and being the US navy we are dry out here so you bring the drinks and those belly dancers you got yourself a party!!!!!
So robin you like sunggling?
 |  |
Recently tried a new drink you'd probably all love. Has anybody else ever had a Hpnotiq martini? Hpnotiq is a beautiful blue colored liqueur made with vodka, cognac, & tropical fruit juices with hints of orange & passion fruit!! I'll volunteer to bring some to our hijacking party. When shall we plan it or should it be a secret??
 |  |
Geez 3:11 I'm gettin better I just wanna get under 3 minutes!!
 |  |
Kathy, you'd better hurry. I've been rowing like mad and the ship's in sight. I'm going to need some refreshment after all this rowing. Once we've comandeered the ship, we might send out a helicopter to pick up the rest of the pirates and some supplies.
 |  |
I just realised that we are all getting a picture - it's just that we didn't realise it! It's a view out of the window looking at the snow that all these poor Northern Hemisphere souls have been telling us about...
 |  |
 |  |
Robyn, that's 3 of us so far, you,me and Kathy. And sorry but you don't get to take anyone home!!! The hijacking party is on the CVN-69 (is that's it's real code,Dennis, or are you being naughty????). We cyberport ourselves to the ship, don't row it's a bit far, and Kathy the drinks sound great! More...
 |  |
You an Olympic rower, Robyn? Well, looks like you beat me to it. Lower a rope, I'm climbing up, then we need to find somewhere to hide and group together - where do you suppose they keep their alcohol and hocolate supplies, and how will we know Dennis?
 |  |
'we could attack at dawn'
I'm not sure if that's the best time, but that's what they say in all the good (and bad) movies.
With 4000 sailors, a rest first sounds a good idea!
 |  |
CVN-69 is the Hull number of our ship... and it is 11:20am here but dosen't matter what time it is trust me there would be a warm welcome anytime of the day or night.... In talking to the sailors that have been to Aussie land you all have the friendliest Women in the world if you can't find a date in AU you should become a priest...
 |  |
Come in Robyn, where's Kathy with the drinks? I've brought some Coral Trout cooked to perfection (Pete's secret recipe) for all, choose a bed, we Aussies need to rest - when we wake in the morning we'll no doubt have a room full of Sudoku pirates. Who's going to pilot this boat and where will we take it?
 |  |
Oh dear. As far I can see I am holding the record for the longest time - 6:43. It is not good to talk on the phone while playing - and this relates to both activities.
 |  |
I've currently taken a little detour via Hungary, so you might need to pour youself a cocktail. I'll be there soon
 |  |
6:35 but no picture!

3:35 When starting the pzzle look in columns of 9 or rows of 9 box to see if you can find a pair of number, you can then logically figure out where the third number would go. Continue to apply this strategy around the board, skipping when you can't positively place a number. Come back to that More...

to heidi-why dont' you figure it out yourself
 |  |
I've found a bunk to rest in and prepare for our adventure. See you in the morning.
 |  |
There's a picture there; it's what people in Canada and northern US call a 'White Out'; i.e. a very snowy day!
 |  |
Since it's 11:20 AM onboard USS Dennis, I think we should get some sleep first & then sneak aboard after dark. I will come via submarine & may bring my husband since he is an experienced 'bubblehead' (USN-Ret.,O-5,1990) & can also help me carry all those heavy cases of Hpnotiq. Can someone else bring the vodka? Do we have any Russian volunteers?
