HI all! Ok so you are all very smart people as no-one fell for my silly riddle yesterday! If all the men are French, then no matter how many other languages they speak, they will still be able to communicate in French!

Jerry, Bibendum is very well known in France! I think he may well have seen the light of day in this country!

1:42 Hi to all.

Thought for the Day:

A diplomat is a person who can be very disarming even though his country isn't.

Rayray I think the snowmen were unarmed but disarming and/or charming.

The Bibendum restaurant is in Michelin House Fulham road in London. Old haunt. Still with the orginal logo embedded in the front of the building of the Michelin Man.

Yea, but ... how many ways can you arrange the 5 of them in a line?

Thyra, I'm actually at "the other place", Toledo, I-5 @ exit 60, right now...

Wow, Quite a few of you know about Bibendum. I have, of course, seen him on the tube and in print ads, but until this AM didn't know he even had a name...

Hello Sudokuland! It has been awhile. I hope everyone is recovered from a simply lovely holiday. 4 kids are keeping me extremely busy and thus sudoku time is thin. But they are beautiful, fun, healthy kids and I love them completely. Baby Michael is a 19 lb (8.6 kg)extremely busy 7 and a half month old. Happy New Year to all and my prayers to Haiti.

Rayray Yar-ray - double barrelled enough? Have you ever read The Week magazine? I received a subscription as a crimble pressi and it is quite a nice 'flick through and catch up' news magazine. It gives a round up of all the world news in a nutshell for the week, that you can pour over whilst drinking a nice espresso or two.

Good reason you couldn't find it was because it was Broni, not Gail who posted it. Blame it on this ghastly bug I've got. My brain aches as does almost everything else. Good thing it isn't transmitted across the ethernet

Massive computer problems this morning. My downloading yahoo and yahoo messenger did dastardly things! I couldn't access my e-mail, couldn't get to other programs, finally had to uninstall it. Sorry Fiona. I truly need a new computer....

How rude of me! Good morning to all! I did my washing yesterday and hung everything up to dry in my dryer (I'm too cheap to buy clothes pegs).

Words that you or I would commonly use for one meaning, have a completely different meaning to parents in a family...

AMNESIA: condition that enables a woman who has gone through labor to have sex again.

BOTTLE FEEDING: an opportunity for Daddy to get up at 2 AM too.

A Sunday school teacher asked the children just before she dismissed them to go to church, "And why is it necessary to be quiet in church?"

Anita replied, "Because people are sleeping."

Anybody have a theory as to why Yahoo would cause such problems? Hubby says it makes no sense, but once it was uninstalled, everything worked again.

Kathy, depending on what operating system you have, there have been many problems encountered installing Yahoo. Google "Installing Yahoo Problems" and you may find an answer there for the operating system you have on your computer.

Jill (Richland, OH) I just went to your page and saw pic of your children - gorgeous little tikes! No wonder you haven't been here lately. I'm so glad I stopped at 3! LOL But I hardly ever have time for sudoku either. Between my website business, clothing business, and part-time tax prep job, I shouldn't be playing games at all!

Nearly forgot to give you a teaser. Answers to the graveyard shift inbox please.
Once there was a night watchman who had been caught several times sleeping on the job. The boss issued the final warning. On the next night he was caught with his head on his hand and his elbows on the desk. More...

Rayray, you might be invisible if you're covered in snow, but have a few sausage rolls (pigs in a blanket), your body temperature will rise, the snow will melt off and everyone will see you again. As to André being held captive by the snow monsters, once it warms up in England, she will be free again to escape the clutches of that nasty Old Man Winter.

Wow. There have been problems with "corruption, connection, e-mail, lost internet explorer" I am not alone.
Certainly Fiona can't be responsible for all of THAT!!
I'm your friend, Fiona. I just don't want you near my computer!

Kathy, I am sure that if you googled "Problems with Judy from San Diego", you'd also get a whole pile of people saying they too were victims, and there would probably even be an anti-malware program available to combat her!
