I both read the book and saw the movie. The book was rather boring and I felt that it was just a long rambling whine. The movie was definitely an improvement. I might be partial to Meryl Streep's acting, but it certainly helped making the movie a must-see.

Would she possibly consider giving us a second chance here & allowing us to show we do care about her, just as we did about Miles during his recovery & as we do now keep Shikia in our thoughts & prayers.

Col - Don't expect any more news until after the Specialist see her. The Specialist visits Hobart from Melbourne every month and he/she is due in about two weeks. She will be allowed home and monitored during this time.
