Speaking of power tools, this reminds me of a pair of neighbors I used to have....

A woodworker, George, had a neighbour that always borrowed his tools and never returned them, one day frustrated with this he phoned him.

When the famous western American Kit Carson wasn't out exploring, he lived on a small farm. One day, the famous frontiersman decided to surprise his wife with eggs and fish for breakfast.
Arising early, he went down to the henhouse and collected some fresh eggs. There were only six.

#2 son has managed to put a nail from a nail gun through the fleshy part of his index finger beside the nail. He did no damage at all except to his pride. He did need to get a tetanus injection though.

Funny you should mention that particular photo, Kathy. That storm was in the process of building during my #2 son's wedding only a mile or so to the North. Within a minute of the recessional, the sirens went off and we huddled in the church for half an hour or so while the storm raged outside. More...

That particular funnel did relatively little property damage as the area is rural and lightly populated but it did murder one horse.

That's quite a memorable wedding day, Jeb.
The church was TRULY a sanctuary that day!

I want to say this once so I can vent a little. Over the years that I have been posting on this site, it has evolved into a great social interaction network. It started with virtual friendships, evolved to personal friendships and get-togethers between folks in Australia, and then grew to More...

A flashlight is actually a dark sucker. The batteries quit working once they fill up with dark. Candles are the same and you can see the evidence. The reason the wick turns black is because of all the dark it has absorbed. The list goes on but there is not enough space here.
To further test the hypothesis see; http://tristan.ethereal.net/humor/dark-suckers.html

A flashlight only makes one flash - then the bulb blows. They are thus useless unless you want to make one flash. The best thing to do is to torch them. Take the batteries out first - otherwise they might explode. The explosion is the batteries' way of sullking,

I agree with you, Greg. I pretty much ignore anything posted anonymously. I certainly won't comment on it, or even take it seriously. If someone can't 'own up' to who they are, I don't want to hear it.
Unless, of course, as you said, it is done in fun.
That's a different story.
