Hey all - have a good nite/day.

Good Evening everyone

Lovely cooling view but scary carving.
I could do with a wander beside the sea, We are in the middle of a heat wave in the UK and we aren't used to it.
 |  |
...Ian shall not be swayed...he has stiffened his resolve to stay on hard...
 |  |
How can there be only 16 comments and it's morning here on the left coast? Guess I should check in more often. But I'm not at work RETIRED and the garden beckons while the air is still cool. Good Maen all!
 |  |
Good Maen to all!! Is that a shot from the Pacific Islands?
 |  |
We did our walk at the beach yesterday, lovely and much cooler! We had heat when we visited your lovely island - nothing much worse than an airless top-floor b&b on a side street near Regents Park - we could barely sleep! Where are you?

Have been sudokuing and reading comments, but have not posted for a while. I notice there's another 'Celia' from somewhere-or-other (I forgot where exactly). Have enjoyed the FLAN recipes -- my all-time favourite dessert, having grown up in Latin America; flan in Mexico was superb and there was a More...

How to buy a stereo:
Carefully calculate power requirements, based on room dimensions, etc. Multiply by a factor of 100.
The ideal system should have as many lights as possible, preferably blinking and flashing in time with the music.
The components should all have black metal finish, More...

Found Stevenage north of London and your temp - your 33C is our 92 fahrenheit. (Found an easy conversion site) But we only need a 15-minute drive to the beach. I know how it feels to be inland and without breeze, wishing for a beach. My sympathies and hopes for cooler!!!

Maen all-
Judy, Keith- sounds like y'all survived the rubber room! Looks like the carved trunk of palm to me, see the leaf litter at the bottom?
4:46, nothing compared to y'all, but not bad for a newbie.
 |  |
Hey, BARBARA! What's on your aagenda today? Your times are improving.
 |  |
Barbara, we did much more than just survive, we conquered it, and Suzanne volunteered to remain as the trophy on the wall.
 |  |
At least we've had a bit cooler, thanks to yesterday's cloudcover - wasn't Saturday awful! Must go out while it's still tolerable. A good day for a movie - still haven't seen DaVinci after all the hoopla...
 |  |
KEITH: Trophies on the wall usually consist of heads only ... Suzanne is all there, isn't she? Well, her body, anyway. LOL, Suzanne!
 |  |
Hey, NAN! Good to hear from you! I respond every time I see your posts, but you disappear quickly! You must be one fast lady! I'm actually at Mammoth for the summer ... no probs here with heat. About 400 sudokuists are appearing as house guests!

to ANNE from ALBANY: are you posting your pictures from Peru anywhere? Interested to learn that was your favourite place. I forget now, did you go to Macchu Picchu? I was there in 1957 before tourism caught up with it. No hotels, no gift shops, no tourists, no noise. Just a few of us with a guide. Awesome experience.
 |  |
Good Maen everyone...
 |  |
Macchu Picchu is #1 on my list of places to visit before I croak. I am fascinated by its story.
 |  |
2:24 Have a good one, everybody!
