There are so many questions that will remain unanswered forever. Captain of the Titanic- What would you have done differently with hindsight?
Elvis, why did you ruin your life and talent with addictive substances?

Guess we could get a lot of questions answered if we did this exercise in a room together (like here in Sudokuland) - I could eavesdrop in on everyone else's conversations.
You're right, GMo - so many unknowns!

Vici, if I could go back in history and ask questions, it would be with the people who decided to build Stonehenge. But I'd need a little more than one or two questions! I'd need a whole afternoon with them!
I have ALWAYS wanted to know: Who built it? Why'd they built it? How'd they decide upon More...

Good one Shiela! I want to eavesdrop on that one for sure - wouldn't it be interesting if you were asking these questions of ETs?!

ummm...Jane....it is you I'll be waiting for but anybody else that wants to join me is welcome!

This is very late for me to be up...Lachie is rather unwell... didn't go to school today because of a sore throat which has now stirred up his asthma and he / we are in for a very unsettled night. A fun day tomorrow no doubt with a trip to the doctor...

Catch you all later. Ciao.

Three guys die together in an accident and go to heaven.

When they get there, St. Peter says, "We only have one rule here in heaven... don't step on the ducks."

So, they enter heaven, and sure enough, there are ducks all over the place.

It is almost impossible More...

Mo, there are actually 7 continents by my map.
Since I only get 4 stops I would have to get to Europe somehow. Maybe have to fly back to Cairo, then to Morocco, take the ferry to Gibraltar that is fun. Would use different modes of transportation for my tour of Europe. Most likely a cruise on More...

Is that lobsters on the barbie? Yummy, I love lobsters grilled that way, no heavy sauces, slight smokey flavor. Oh drool!

OK here's today's math riddle - answers in my inbox please!
Hare and Tortoise had to take a make-up class in math over the summer, a two-month, self-paced course with a test at the end of each of 12 chapters. The course requires a 70% grade to pass.

In the first month, they both had More...

Maybe I would choose Eve (not our resident one, the biblical one!) and ask her what variety of apple she bit into!
19/Aug/08 2:24 AM

I've always felt a bit sorry for Eve. I mean she didn't get to chose her man 'cos there was only the one.

How was the dinner Fiona? Did the minty brownies go well?
19/Aug/08 2:27 AM

fine Mo, no brownies left! Gearing up for a stormy night here - nothing like Florida, but after a scorcher of a day, it's going to be a wild night!

We have no signs here yet of a storm but it is still pretty hot

the Pyrenees have gone a strange colour - always a bad sign! I liked your dinner party thing the other day Mo - it was interesting and got people talking.

Ok, here is PART II of my Fantasy Voyage:

After demolishing Australia and leaving her bereft of Aboriginal antiquities (by the way, thanks for your help in this regard, Bean), I plan to head for England via the “plunnel” which Bean so nicely provided.

Thanks to all for the good wishes. Tropical storm Fay has not crossed Florida yet but we are getting some of the outer bands already. We are prepared but don't expect it to get too bad.

Fiona - the weather sounds ugly out your way. Loved your idea of Eve (with chuckles) and sent you a guess on your quiz today (although I'm not holding my breath on this one)
