Appears that Karen's two are keeping her busy this morning.
This may be my last free morning until I finish my six weeks as a physics teacher. Then it may be a while after my eye surgery before I can see well enough to use a computer.

Afternoon all! I finally have my house back all to myself (at least for the moment). Usually only one child resides here - and I'm married to him . As I survey my abode I don't even know where to start in terms of cleaning/reorganizing. Who knew 6 kids could create such chaos (why do I see all you parents with hands raised in unison)?

Jane, your variety of kitty avatars is cracking me up! and Crystal Lake? I mostly grew up in Des Plaines and then lived in Buffalo Grove for awhile.

I hope Saylz is enjoying his time at the beach. We are expecting a lovely 28C today. That's just perfect for a day at the beach - shame I'm stuck in an office.
I don't imagine it will be anywhere within cooee of 28C in Canberra next week. I'll be packing all my winter woolies to take.

I still have no news. Time seems to be travelling slowly, so perhaps that could lead to an outside impression that I am impatient.
The slow pace of time is related to the severe pain that is responsible for this insomnia.
I don't know why time goes slowly with pain, and quickly with pleasure More...

If this does settle as the norm I shall need to develop a revised sense of humour.

I'm so sorry you're in pain, Rayray, and hope the painkillers kick in soon. If not, perhaps you need to be taking something stronger.

Thanks for the sympathy Jane.
The pain is very uncomfortable and vies with three other times in my life when I experienced severe pain. Fortunately this time I do get remissions, which allow me to regain some conmposure. Unfortunately this pain is at its worst when lying down, and eases when pacing about - I can't sleep while pacing about! Perhaps I could learn to do that?

Quite apart from the gentle warmth, heating it up - the activity - will take my mind off the discomfort - just like looking for a dock-leaf takes your mind off nettle stings.

Hello everyone,that is a very craggy rockface.
What happened to winter it was 25C out on the golf course today it felt more like the begining of Summer and we haven't even had Spring yet.
Our game today was to raise money for Legacy and I'm pleased to say they had a big field of players, will find out next week how much was raised.

Where did everyone go?
