Well, a very sad day. And knowing that Rocko is also gone makes it even more sad. Nal has a new dog now, though, who I'm sure is very good company.

P'raps Bean's birthday been and gone?
No! A Sudoku birthday's two days long.
Still time to wish her happiness
and rescue lateness with finesse.

Every time I saw he beautiful avatar - the Blue Fairy Wren - I thought of this song. May Lynda rest in peace, knowing that she brought happiness to many.

I also loved Lynda's little blue wren avatar, and will miss seeing it. My sympathies and thoughts go out to her family. R.I.P. Lynda from Perth.

Back again - after several visits to the hospital today. Mum is now in the Orthopedic ward, it is quieter there at least. They're still not on top of her pain, I think because she is regularly on a high amount for her 2 osteoporitic spinal crush fractures, so they think they are giving her larege More...

The support from here continues to humble me - and i am lucky that Mum is in the hospital I work at. That means I can go and take a break in my usual work area, and my mates have been great with hugs and words of support. As well, the social worker in the orthopedic ward used to be the maternity social worker, so I know her well and can talk to her easily and she has been very supportive too.

No 1 daughter, SIL and the grandies are about to arrive, mostly to giove me support, and also to try and cheer Grandnana up. I am so lucky to have a fabulous hubby, children and great friends - at work and here. Thank you all again.

CP you have been through the wringer, about time you did something for you...........otherwise you will too exhausted to help others. Take care Lovely Lady.

Cp - it's at times like these that you really need a support network and you're so lucky that you DO have that with your family. You DO have it here with your 'other family" too- you have a lot of our email addys and our MSN addy's - please give us a buzz when (not if) you need to let off steam

CP - my thoughts are coming your way from this side of the globe. Hang in there and keep fighting for your mom. I understand about her high pain tolerance making things tough - my m-i-l is the same way.

Luckily I am just in time today to add a few words of condolence to all the others offered so far. My very sincere sympathy to the family of Lynda, the Lover of Blue Wrens. I do not know the circumstances but it seems that her passing was very unexpected. What a terrible time this is for you, but please remember that there are hundreds of us in Sudokuland who understand and share your sorrow.

CP, thank you for keeping us posted on your mom's state, take care of yourself also. So happy to hear of all the support you get from family and friends. My thoughts and prayers are going your way!
