everyone!

#2 on Mr. Cee's puzzle is in my neck of the woods. And thank you, Mr. Cee, for not typing Silver SpringS! There is no S, which I have told people, over the years, more times than I can count.

Speaking of puzzles, I have decided to retire from from the posting of the fore mentioned. Not for any earth shattering reason, but I will be gone quite a bit this summer and would miss too many days. Also, my schedule when we're not traveling is pretty full. I've really enjoyed it, and some of More...

I'll echo Lizzy's comment, Kathy. Your puzzles have been fun, entertaining, and well worth the doing for the incredible prizes awarded. Hope you're able to jump back in at some point.

We're having a day of thunderstorms and with a high possibility of tornadoes. Not exactly a pleasant sort of day. Tomorrow is only supposed to be a little better. Good day to stay inside and read.

The same storm that hit Oklahoma is heading right at me. It looks like we might have 2 to 3 hours before it hits.

Post from last night:
The electric is finally back. There have been so many different storms tonight, coming from the north, south & west of us. I think they are all gone for the night. So many different places had tornados tonight don't know where they all were. Thank goodness all we got was rain, a lot of rain but just rain, surprised that there was very little wind here.

Sue, Heidi, and everyone in the path of the tornadoes and accompanying storms - my thoughts and prayers are with you all. So glad you are O.K. Sue - and be safe, Heidi. I've lived in Kansas and Iowa and seen first hand how ferocious the weather can be. (Actually, I've lived in Oklahoma and More...

Thanks for the kind comments. The puzzles have been fun, but time for some new input, I think.

I am having a heck of a time with #3 of Mr. Cee's puzzle. I am confused as to what the ( ) mean.

I had a tornado go literally right over my head here 19 years ago, and it seems like just yesterday. I don't want to experience it again. It really does sound like an express train running right over you. That day we had 3 tornadoes hit Magnolia, destroying 150 homes, an unknown number of barns, More...

Scary stuff, Heidi!

I FINALLY figured out what Mr. Cee was referring to! I think. I'll send my answers then try to get something done around here aside from beating my head on my computer desk.
He does go for the obscure.

Just a quick note to let you know that Rob will not be leaving the hospital today after all. His afib has returned, so another round or two of electrical cardioversion is on slate for the next day or two. Keep the positive energy flowing!!!

Oh, what a disappointment for them, Jane! It must seem to them as though it will never end. Sending every positive thought I can that this is the last of the set backs and they will be out of there soon!

At least Rob was in the right place when his afib returned. Better there than at home.
I'm sending all of my good wishes and positive mojo to Rob to help him heal up.

Busy day in Sudokuville. I've been gone almost 7 hours and it looks like I've missed a lot.
I too, will miss your puzzles, Kathy.
Glad to hear that there have been no serious problems with the bad weather in the central US.
Sorry to hear that Rob had a relapse. Best wishes to he and Kathy.

Finished an excellent book this afternoon: A Higher Call, by Adam Makos. It's a true story about an encounter between a US B-17 bomber and a German BF-109 fighter during WWII and the meeting of the pilots some 40+ years later.
