I work with numbers all day long, but there is obviously some sort of synapse that doesn't take place for me. I usually time myself, but I am glad when I get under 3 minutes. Good enough for me. I never could run very fast or jump very high, either! I just pretty well plod along. Pretty steady, though.

Just take it easy and enjoy the game André. I find that an hour and a half and a few cold beer (might even stop to make a sandwich) suits me just perfectly for the easy Kid's Sudoku!

André, don't do any of them. Copy jamie and me, slow and steady ... throw in a little mellow too.

I've updated my page for Christmas ... a little chocolate for everybody, and Peo Kindgren playing White Christmas.

andré, are you still running DOS? I found my times got a lot better when I switched to Windows. Otherwise, I was just getting a lot of jumble. But it was still fine.

Rosemary, Your post serves as a reminder that many are not having a merry time, but are instead suffering for a myriad of reasons...may we remember all who are unhappy, mourning, sick or just not in the mood for 'Merry Merry'! Further to the discussions earlier today about the M 6.6 New Zealand earthquake this morning at 7.55am (GMT): news is now filtering through about its effects. There was some infrastructure damage but no deaths or serious injuries. See this link for details:

Keith, I really like your attitude about being "relaxed". Unfortunately, I'm not very familiar with that feeling, especially during the month of December!! The closer it gets to the 25th the faster I have to run on the treadmill. Seems there is no end to the things that must be done.

Mamacita, thanks for the reminder about those for whom this holiday season is NOT a happy one. I have been thinking about our fellow Sudokuist Betty in particular. Betty, hope you're doing okay. Hugs to you from me & lots of others, I'm sure.

Went to a Christmas Luncheon, then to COSTCO. When I left home I had 1/8 of a tank of gas, by the time I reached COSTCO, I was on empty - so filled the tank as planned. Pulled away from the pump and my gas gauge read Empty. My question where did the 20+ gallons go. By the time I More...

All that talk about Chocolates, I bouth those French Truffles that Jane recommended. Also got to sample some Dove candies, I should have gone there, not after a luncheon - but on an empty stomach with all the samples they were giving out.

One last comment for today. Our sweet puppy Ebony is the best thing that happened to Rob & me in 2007. She's now 9 months old, stands 24" high, & weighs 53 pounds. We're hoping to get a good picture of her to post on my page soon. Meanwhile she has a Christmas puzzle for you to solve. Please see my Page for details. to all.

Kathy, If we raided Jane's house together, I could have the sausage ones and you can have the fungus. I'll meet you there.

Eve, spectacular as always. I've always really liked "Carol of the Bells" and Mannheim is a favorite, so the combo makes it lovely!

Jane, give your truffles to someone else. Yuck! How rude of me, huh? Well, beggers can't be choosers right? Okay, I'll bring some for you so that you have them should anyone else invite themselves.

Eve, hun, sorry, I have to say that I like Kathy's youtube the best today.
