nal, caring for an aging parent is a difficult and at the same time rewarding experience. Nothing easy about it, but it feels good to be giving back some of what they gave you years before. May it go as well as it can for you. Thanks for the good sendoff on my travels.

I really understand. I had several aunts suffer with the horrid diease. Its so sad to see our loved ones lose all that thay have known. Its also very difficult dealing with the problems that come with it. One of my aunts came here, where my sister, her family and myself joined forces to care for More...

Mamacita.....I read your comments most days and I have to say what a lovely person you are. You try to acknowledge everybody who belongs to this site and that is very thoughtful. You also offer a lot of comfort to those who are in need of it along with praise and humour to others. I just wanted to let you know that your comments/posts are noticed by all.

Welcome to the world Kalleb!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Congrates Mickey and family. I wish your entire family happiness, health and wealth.

nal from Miami
We have a group here in Chicago that does in home care. Maybe there is a group in the Miami area that does it also. The nice thing about the group is that if your care givier needs time off they will provide one for that time frame. My family went through this with two aunts and both my parents.

Okay Angie, Rose and Col!!!!! What's the big idea??? Mark tells me he had a tryst with the three of you last night while I was snoring on the couch....lol....

He struggles a bit with multiple conversations which is why he doesn't go to the chatroom but he really enjoyed his time with you last night.

Lucky I am not the jealous type...

Welcome to Kalleb. So glad for Mickey he is finally here. Best wishes to all the family.

4:23 - waterfront picture of big city. Always impressive. I think of all the people living there.

Congratulations to Mickey. Enjoy your new baby boy, Kalleb. They grow up so fast.

Having a child means you have a piece of your heart walking around outside your body!

ROTFL Deb
it was a very funny convo Deb and you certainly dont need to be jealous.
I did ask where you were and he said you were snoring as graeme was here.
I think we scared the heck out of mark with our winks and nudges.
Got the pics Deb , house looks good and much better than living in a unit complex.

MICKEY & Family - Congratulations to all of you on the safe arrival of baby Kalleb! It's been a long wait, huh! I'm excited that his name is Kalleb, since my grandson's name is Caleb, slightly different spelling, like Kim's Caleb. What is his middle name? Also, we'll be anxious to find out More...

Congratulations Mickey and welcome Kalleb!

Col you really should stop posting anonymously. your posts are quite obvious and reveal a very unflattering, ugly, disturbed side of you.

To JIM from COLO: Applause for the the plays on words!

I really enjoy the jokes on this site. Here's one I got today from a friend:

A visiting minister was eloquent during the offertory prayer. 'Dear Lord,' he began with arms extended and a rapturous look on his upturned face, 'without you we are but dust...'

He would have continued More...

Last night about 9:30 P.M. I got to watch a mother turtle lay over 100 eggs in her nest on Juno Beach, very close to the Marinelife Center where our Sudoku friend Jim from Jupiter volunteers. I purchased tickets for the July 20 Turtle Walk way back in May, & I was so happy that it turned out to be More...

To all you nitpickers out there - please lay off my friend JUDY. I think you're just jealous that you're not retired and not nearly as friendly & 'noice' as she is!! Wouldn't you rather read comments like hers than the bad-mouthing of Baz & Beehive (although I must admit I do miss them just a tiny bit!)? There's room enough here for everyone.
 |  |
No. Bring back Baz and Beehive.

MEL from Perth - Congratulations to you, too, on your winning guess in the baby contest!! I can't wait to see SM after your name & some Smilies, too!
KEITH - Have a good time on your trip! It won't be the same here without you.
ED - Are you ready to become a Cereal More...
 |  |
not too noice & friendly kathy for the people who are not retired and don't have that sort of time to plough thru so many posts.no one is saying stop just reduce a little.courtesy should be a two way thing.
 |  |
Kathy, Well said.

Deb, If would like to see two beautiful pictures of Mamacita e-mail me at baysbestbev@tampabay.rr.com

Keith, Have a great vacation.

Congratulations, Mickey! Welcome, little Kalleb!

gath just about the saved times on the members page - a couple of days ago my seconds weren't the same as the mins and secs. Actually i think the secs were right (and not just coz they were less! i really wondered if i'd remembered the time correctly but my memory differed from the saved More...

... Samuel Pepys diary it was not.

bsj from HK - You put that very noicely, & make a fair request to 'reduce a little', I think. I must admit that if I were a working gal & saw bunches of posts from retirees, it might be irritating to me, too. I give you lots of credit for being honest & upfront & using your own name rather than hiding behind a 'from' curtain. By the way, where is HK?

Hong Kong I would think

LOZA - The other day, you posted a very nice prayer during the discussion about family relations. I meant to copy it, but forgot. I think it was written by someone you have quoted before, but I can't remember his name. Could you refresh my memory & save me from searching back in the Archives? Thanks.

Enough CP's for me tonight. See you all 'tomorrow'!

This businessman goes up to a friend of his and says, 'So when did you stop beating your wife?'

His friend grumbles back, 'Once she learned how to putt.'
 |  |
Deb/Brissy: Thanks for your kind words. Everyone likes to think that what they say/write might be of interest to others. We all want validation that we are here and have something to add. Those who only choose to focus on the negative should add, not detract from what is being said/done here.BSJ/HK More...

Mamacita, I sent your two beautiful pictures and your e-mail to nal. If I could write like you, I woudn't be me. And I think I would get in a lot less trouble.

To 'concerned from a friend'

Could you please tell me what I am supposed to have posted anonymously ?

And I dont consider anyone my friend who would call me 'ugly and disturbed'

JUST FAUX FUN

'Can you loan me faux dollars ?'
'What faux ?'

'What do you need with faux diamonds ?'
'I have sixteen, but I need faux more.'

'Okay, why do you need twenty faux diamonds ?'
'No, just twenty, not twenty-faux .'
