Apologies. I am advised that the information offered on 'CHAV' was the origination only. I should have also offered the definition: 'a working class person who wears casual sports clothing'.

Footnote: Instead of apple-bobbing with them, why not just loch them away.

Most eloquent, Ted. And as our American cousins would say, right back atchya!
 |  |
3:15 Where are you going Ted S.? On Holiday? We'll talk when you get back.Your comment touches me.
 |  |
Wow, lotsa posts since I last checked. So busy today I only just now got back on. It's almost 11:30pm my time. Cathy, another fellow Libran..glad you can relate. Nan, and Soup- I usually go 'naked' at the beach or pool and at the NAAF conference (lots of crazy bald folks together like to party). Got myself a great 'cranial prosthesis' to the tune of $3500 and am a long haired blonde these days.
 |  |
Also, BTW, the 'prostheses' are made in New Zealand. They seem to have the best technology for vacuum hairpieces, they are like tupperware, totally formed to your head. On another note, just watched 'Monster in Law' with the family. Pretty funny piece of fluff. Any one else here seen it? Any reviews of 'Good Night and Good Luck'? Can't be too bad with George Clooney , eh?

2:27 Just arrived home early from work after a couple of drinks and get quite a good time doing this. Perhaps I had better have a drink every time I come on here to solve these.
 |  |
2:14 - Have a nice day.
 |  |
get in there 53 seconds!!!
A record for me!!

jjjjjjjj

LOL!

But as an egalitarian I should be fair and give them a chance. After all, some of them may even like sudoku.
If they're half decent the clothing matter can be dealt with.
Do they have a special accent that makes them easy to recognise? Should I look out for them in pubs?

Hello dear one how was your day? Heavy duties on the bridge? A challenging away mission?
Wouldn't it be lovely to take a shuttle and escape through a worm hole to somewhere quiet, exotic and relaxing with waterfalls to listen too, a lagoon to swim in and a spreading tree with soft grass beneath its boughs where books could be read and sauvignon blanc sipped?
 |  |
Yay, Frazzie old LOVE.......if you're not careful you're going to poke that tongue right through your cheek!!
How was your day, and do you still look like a rotten melon??
That didn't come out quite right......
 |  |
2:47 merry xmas !!!
 |  |
Our posts were simultaneous!!!
Skinny-dipping with you in a lagoon is my absolutely all time favourite fantasy. You find the wormhole and I'll steal the shuttle! A word of caution - won't your metal bits rust?
 |  |
Irony? me?
I never press anything.

But it has succeeded in getting your attention, which I wanted, as I was going to ask if you were intending to come to the hogmanay bash?
Preferably in a kilt.
 |  |
Not all my bits are metal. And those that are, are also resistant to corrosion.

 |  |
Beneath the titanium lies the playful kitten longing for a tummy tickle! Or something.
These metal bits...they aren't anywhere sort of, well, ...dangerous, are they?
 |  |
Possibly. Or Maybe not.

The question might require investigation.
 |  |
Frazzle-Dazzle Baby..You betcha! Kilt and all!

Do kilts have a crotch section or does it all just sort of, you know, dangle?
 |  |
I'm sure the answer is worth the risk..I think.
After all, any lost parts could always be prosthetically replaced with metal appendages.

You could always call me TinDick!
 |  |
What men wear under their kilts is a mystery that has puzzled women for centuries.
They're very heavy too - so a stiff breeze reveals nothing.
Sporrans clearly dangle though.

Maybe Fiona could advise on the proper kilt etiquette for the party?
 |  |
Regret insufficient data to formalize a response
 |  |
oooohhhh. I don't like the thought of that at all. Why do you think I prefer human males to their borg brothers?

 |  |
2:31 no marking up, no checking of moves (to keep the dissenters happy), straight to solution one number series at a time
 |  |
Aren't they the stockings that go ALL the way up?
Settle,Jack!!
As long as the breeze reveals nothing stiff!
Have you been following the stoush between Fiona and Spellmaster? Now if those two both come to the party there'll be some real fireworks!!
 |  |
Thanks DJG. Maybe there's another sudokist who could advise on how to recognise and treat a CHAV - could be useful information for both of us. QRP probably knows. I'll zip off to hard and ask her.
 |  |
Stockings???? oh dear. You clearly know little of the whole kilt business. Still, there's time to learn. A sporran is a furry little purse that men wear on the front of their kilts. They appear to serve a dual purpose as a carrier for some small treasures, and a protector for some others (perhaps More...

Have to go and get on with my day - before it gets dark again (which it does here very very early)! There's lot's to be done at the castle before all the guests arrive and I can't leave Fiona to do it alone.
Talk later-when there's new puzzles to be done!

 |  |
before I go, I've sent you some rain to dampen that heat and the fire threat. There's plenty to spare here in any case.
Hope it's enough.
 |  |
Have you run off in fright? There's no need. No harm will come to you. I promise.
 |  |
Too easy
 |  |
I thought you'd gone 'til later.
My dear, I know what a sporran is - it's the (F)razzamattaz that goes...Stocking brand??
Alter egos..we know that HH thinks that Spellmaster is Paul from Hobart, so who do you think Fiona also is??
 |  |
Welcome back Andre, & in case I dont get on tomorrow with so much to do, merry Xmas to all our regular chat friends (too numerous now to mention all individually) & those of you who just read for the lol - just like I do sometimes without the need to make comments. Special Xmas cheers to Gath for More...

hi all
 |  |
5.06!! Santa was a naughty boy and kept me up last night so body too tired to function today
 |  |
Could Fiona also be QRP? English teacher, same time zone, similar waspish humour, perfect speller, what other clues - you've known her much longer than me.
 |  |
I'm so sorry to have missed your stocking illusion and to have accused you of kilt ignorance. xxxxxx
The stocking brand of choice today is 'wicked', which comes in colours like 'lust' and 'envy' and I had forgotten about the o-oh brand.

No I don't believe Fiona is QRP - it's definitely somebody in the UK. I think HH is right about Spellmaster though...
 |  |
Fraz babe......no need to be sorry - with names like 'lust' it's time I caught up with what you girls are wearing these days!!
 |  |
Hiya I can't wait for tommorow I'm going to see my best friend Naomi who lives in New Orleans and has suffered from the you know what! I busy scoffing candy and i've got a letter from her in the mail.
