Baz, another hardly known fact is that the rabbit is one of only 2 animals that can see backwards.

Bad luck Baz; so near yet so far.

4.34 felt very slow with lots of silly mistakes today, so i was surprised to see a time of under 5 mins.

We used to have a (highly illegal $60 000 fine) pet rabbit. It was pure white and the best pet we ever had. We'd let it loose in our yard every afternoon, and before dark walk up to its enclosure with vege scraps, and it would hop at lightning speed from wherever it was straight into the pen. There was no barking, no spraying and the cuddliest pet ever. We got too scared to keep it after a while.

Susan I was interested to learn when on hols in Qld a few yrs ago about rabbits being illegal pets up there. It's a bit sad really eh. specially as the pet ones seem to be a different breed from those that run wild. has that ban been since forever, or was it brought in fairly recently?

Loza, that ban has been for years. It hasn't worked though. I see rabbits regularly from Georgetown to Mareeba every time I go to Cairns. However, in the 60's I lived in a house behind the Chrysler factory in Adelaide, and after midnight there were white rabbits all over the place - hundreds of em, More...
