Hi all. I'm spending extra time on the 'puter as the dust outside is getting thicker. I have to keep reminding myself that it is only 2.30 as it looks more like dusk. I've put towels under all the doors to stop the stuff getting in. Now all I have to do is get the family to stop going in & out!!!

I have given up Grasshopper, feels like sand and grit underfoot, and I dusted this morning what a waste.

I went up the road to buy lunch earlier and there was no one about. Really strange at 1pm in the afternoon.
I rang home and hubby had all the doors and windows shut but said everything was gritty. Even the dog won't go outside.

wow, I went and looked at the red dust, reminds of how Mars would look, take care

I set out walking with Jasper this morning with less than 50 metres visibility. The fog or low cloud lent an eeriness to the vineyards. It was interesting to note how many things I 'saw' for the first time although I walk a similar path each day. It was More...

I have posted 2 pics of the dust storm here in Brissie - it was not as spectacular or colourful as in Sydney but it certainly was eerie and uncomfortable. Everything inside the house is now covered in dust. I also posted a pic of the Narnia ship built at Cleveland Point in the Redlands where they are currently shooting the next Narnia film.

Thanks for all the comments about the dust storm photo. I did love some of your comments Rayray. Things are clear outside now but there is red dust settled everywhere. Quite a bit in the house as well.
