Happy Wednesday!
I can add homemade granola (with almonds, dried apricots, brown sugar...) that I made my bro-in-law (who likes to eat healthy) as part of his Christmas package and to this holiday brekkie!

Lovely river and bridge photo!

Good morning to the Breakfast Club. Sleep well to the folks down under. Christmas is sort of over for us. We had to celebrate early because that's when my family could be at our house before they headed back home a 9 hour drive away. So, Lynne and I are heading out tomorrow to celebrate Christmas Eve and day in a wonderful country hotel that we just love to stay at. Happy Holidays to all.

For those of you who have done the puzzle, the Macquarie river is one of Australias bigger rivers, in a good season. We don't have the huge waterways that you do, and do amazingly well on these little rivers. There is a lot of arfument over irrigation rights versus the environment and a lot of More...

Greeting from Nevada, no Arizona, no Nevada. Oh well, it depends on which side of the Colorado River we are on and we have to change our clocks back and forth and remember which time zone we are in. We are in Laughlin Nevada and went to the Las Vegas bowl football game last nite. Great time, but windy and cold and our team, the Oregon State Beavers lost.

In a small southern town there was a "Nativity Scene" that showed great skill and talent had gone into creating it. One small feature bothered me.

Jim, I think your Liberal vs. Conservative greeting pretty well sums up the situation. A lot of the trouble in congress these days is how to keep the roof on the building with all the hot air being produced. Just look how much wasted verbosity it takes a liberal to say what his opponent did with More...

Gail, your not wrapping C Eve.. me too... This year I am putting a couple of toys in reusable Christmas bags with their names but all the big stuff and obvious who it is for items I am just putting them under the tree. The way they did it generations ago. I am sick of the cost and waste of wrapping paper, not to mention how full the bin is in 2 hours.

Nice card, isn't it?
I am aware that, for me, Christmas is about Bethlehem and the events there as well as Jolly Old St Nicholas. But for others, this season is about Hannukah, and Kwaanza.
Whatever you are celebrating, enjoy the time with family and friends, and travel safely!

I have already been out to "the mall"!
Last night, I realised I had noot bought gifts for the children of No 1 daughter's friends who are joining us for Christmas lunch.
I woke at 0645, realised K-Mart ws opening at 0700, so jumped up, showered and dressed, and off I went. Bought the gifts and some last-minute groceries and was home at 0755!!
