I understand Danstell's message perfectly. She is telling us that men like to boat and fish and not be tied down. The anchor being too short means that they can't (or won't) stay long in one place too long, so get used to it! The cat eating the fish is a parable which roughly translates to More...

Next time you have a bad day at work, think of this guy.

Rob is a commercial saturation diver for Global Divers in Louisiana. He performs underwater repairs on offshore drilling rigs. Below is an E-mail he sent to his sister.
She then sent it to a radio station in Ft. Wayne, Indiana, More...

Now repeat to yourself, I love my job, I love my job, I love my job.

Remember whenever you have a bad day, ask yourself, is this a jellyfish bad day?

May you NEVER have a jellyfish bad day!!!!!

Mr Gray is one handsome cat, with a very striking eyes and facial bone structure.

Oh, Broni My bottom is sore because I fell off my chair laughing so hard! But at least it's not a jellyfish bad day!

Nevertheless, I don't have a clue what the cat eating all the fish, and a too short anchor have to do with the age of man. Maybe this is Canuk Greg's fault for putting on "Super Trouper" and damaging our brains.

Jane - wonderful explanation - thanks for clearing that up!!

FOUR WORMS
FOUR WORMS AND A LESSON

A minister decided that a visual demonstration would add emphasis to his Sunday sermon.

Four worms were placed into four separate jars.

The first worm was put into a container of alcohol.

The second worm was put into a More...

Jane -
Here's something to keep the worms away - sorry, I don't have anything stronger here!

2:17 Good Morning

For some very weird, and unknown, reason when I looked at Mr Grey one of my favourite quotes from a book popped into my head... Paranoid? Probably. But just because you're paranoid doesn't mean there isn't an invisible demon about to eat your face.

Great jokes thanks Broni and Jane and Daplap. And Greg's story about the drunk and the police car.
Not to mention the Abba songs - haven't been able to get them out of my head anyway since I saw the film 2 weeks ago - and it's still happening - so I say 'Thank you for the Music'.

Heidi - perhaps the reason you don't understand Danstell's "Age of Man" explanation is because you're taking the "age" part too seriously and trying to read too much into it. In a nutshell, men remain roughly nine years old their entire lives (mentally and emotionally, if not physically). There! Does that clear things up????

My retired "9-year-old" just ate all the popsicles, so guess who has to go to the store to restock??? Grrrrrrrr

Oh well, it's time to get dinner going anyway. So bye for now!
24/Jul/08 8:39 AM

(I shall pretend to agree) Yeah, Jane, everything is as clear as crystal.

CG - thanks for the music; Fiona - always thanks for the riddles (and I must say you do NOT look your age!); Eve - I hope you enjoy Lyle tonight. I think I told you that I used to go see him on Friday nights at one of our local pizza places. He was/is a great guy who has made it by singing the music that he wants to. More Lyle stories if interested.

Jonjo, considering it's only 7:39 in the evening here where I am, it's a little early to go to bed!

And the world is round. It's always morning somewhere.

Heidi, people can do a they please and whee when the need is there. Holding onto a whee can be painful. Life is good, so let things happen as they happen.

I stand corrected.

LOL Heidi! Which does not mean you can wheee indiscriminately otherwise we will be jumping puddles. Still getting rain there Heidi?
