Just landed back in OZ. The cars are back on the right side of the road, meaning right is left, and the light switches are no longer upside down and I hope the stars tonight are back in their proper places.... but my smilies are missing

Some unnamed comments were becoming quite rude and annoying. Some days I just turned off cause they were wasting my time.

Thanks goodness all the graffiti from the vandals on line earlier has gone, made it a waste of time to read everyone's posts while I was having lunch.

Well I thought I'd check in before I went to bed...seems as if I've missed some fireworks that were nasty enough to bring about further restrictions on the site...I understand the reasons for the action, but regret the outcome none the less. As others have said, some of the fun has been taken away from the site. It is sad!

Mamacita, there was absolutely no fireworks on site today. Only Ian making his usual point about the silliness of some posts. Beehive made some posts, but nothing controversial or ugly. I think some people may have attributed Ian's posts to Beehive.

Thanks for clarifying the situation, From. I suspected fireworks because some felt rude, hurtful comments were being made....I have seen the Ian and beehive show before and could relate to those comments.

Gath took out all the Ian and Beehive postings and now, comments made relative to those two are still there and look absolutely rediculous out of their context.

Yea, Judy, if you fall off the face of the Gath world, that world won't be worth visiting.

I am forevermore amazed at the number of otherwise sturdy vehicles that crumble by the side of the road when they first meet a wrinkle in the pavement. Not unlike the idiot that built a house next to the 2nd fairway at the local municipal and now complains about the golf balls pelting his property.

We can't have comments dashing about exposing themselves without proper context. Think of the dashed sensibilities.

Only the members' comments look silly Jeb.
