Below I add a fourth quake to the ‘first’ string of earthquakes posted on 20th January.
The four successive quakes in that string arguably originate from the South Shetlands quakes on 15th January.
(iv) OFFSHORE CHIAPAS, MEXICO; 2012/01/21; M 6.3

I have just been out doing some hacking in my weed patch. I say hacking because I believe that is what is done in a jungle. The heat & rain have turned otherwise well behaved growths into monsters.

Hmmm. Slow this evening/afternoon/morning. I came back to wish everyone a good night. But it seems there is no one to say good night to.
Not even Karen.

Having just missed my number.

OK, just missed by nearly an hour.

Just home from a dinner out with a bunch of Mr P's American colleagues.

Taught them how to spell, and how to do a Tim Tam Slam.

Evening everyone...just got the 'puter to work again.. signal keeps dropping out.

Mr Cee We are okay here... hasn't been too much rain today. I forgot to check the gauge today. Had a bit of a downpour through the night and showers today so roads are ok.

We had a friend heading for the airport yesterday morning and I thought they may have been stopped by floodwaters at Kilcoy but they got to Brisbane without any trouble.

Hope you don't have to get out the floaties Mr Cee

G-H I know what you mean about chopping through the 'jungle'. I spent yesterday afternoon doing much the same thing. Was a bit concerned about what 'creatures' I might encounter as I found what used to be earth and garden.

White water rafters are too cool for that stuff.

I am wondering if I will get to go for my 'long' walk in the morning. I don't think I will be able to walk as fast in my gumboots. According to the forecast it will be raining at 3am and at 6am and at 9am and at 12noon and all day basically. I think gumboots raincoat and brolly are going to severely impede my style and slow me down
