There was a news item just on tv about a young Aussie bloke working in the US who threw a snowball at a female co-worker. She has gone all litigious and he now faces a criminal record and expulsion from the US never to be allowed to re-enter. Is this quite fair?

Tree Sheila, the more rules and laws an entity has, the more rediculous things become. As reported, this certainly seems to fit that category.

Tree Sheila, I just googled the incident (which happened last February in Colorado) There is a trial scheduled. The woman claims he was taunting her and threw an "ice ball" which caused her pain in her back because of a previous injury. He says he threw a snowball and meant no harm. More...
