Jane and Appy:
I am thoroughly enjoying your corrections towards politicl correctness.
My next post will be a 'reprint' of a letter I wrote that appeared in our local newspaper not long ago. We are enjoying a recycling revolution here.

WHEELIE WIERD
For curbing waste and saving landfill space we’ll weally soon each have two litter-litre wheelie-bins, and each gull-proof wheelie-bin will’ve two wheels. Like cycles, for recycling we’ll wheel them on walkies to collection points like the kerb. Should you, for More...

Oh Rayray! Too funny! That should have cleared it up for everyone! I am absolutely delighted that it was printed in the paper. I'm sure many people started the day with a smile (or were so confused, they went back to bed!)

Good Maen everyone...sunny and warm in SW Arizona. We expect some rain by this weekend...maybe a half inch. Our yearly total averages 3 in. per year and the sun shines about 90% of the time. Of the possible 4,456 hours of daylight each year, the sun shines in Yuma for roughly 4,050 hours. Not to rub it in Shelley and Stella. Have a great day whatever part of it you have left.

Who puts candy canes on the bottom of the tree when there is a 17 month old running wild around the house?

I do love how she looks at the tree in amazement but glass balls and candy canes should be placed a little higher. Am I thinking wrong or would this be a smart thing to do?

I am happy that I did not have to decorate the tree. Though it seems I should have supervised more.

SHELLEY and STELLA ... living in the same town, do you two know each other in "real life?"

Karen, in answer to your question: Fathers, grandparents, childless adults, children and anyone else who doesn't have to bathe the 17 month old. Oh, and maybe Santa.

3:09. Good Maen to All.

Karen, nothing but plastic on the bottom of the tree! I learned the hard way that glass ornaments and large dogs with fluffy tails don't mix! Also on the no-no list, cats and tinsel! Actually, cats and (real) trees can make for an exciting Christmas. Ours once climbed up and pulled the whole thing over! Ho Ho Ho (or ha ha ha, or whatever's PC at the moment)

2:04 Nal, how cute are they!
Fabulous day here; most of my Christmas cards are written and mailed, the tree's up, the garland's doing whatever garlands are supposed to do. Now it's getting the gear organized because we're Banff-bound on Saturday--gotta follow that snow!

Kathy I know the image you are painting. The tree here topples over at least once a season from the cat climbing it. Generally the sound starts out Oh Oh Oh, then turns into the Ho Ha Ho Ha Ho Ha.

Rene the father in question is the main bath giver, I am the main tummy fixer. In the last 4 More...

For all you ladies out their who have been emailing the Pirelli calendar around, I REALLY hate to dash your spirits, but I did some searching and found the Christmas song these chaps sing while they're getting ready for their photo session. Sing along to the tune of Winter Wonderland....

Has anyone else had problems with the 16x16 and entering the possibilities? When I enter a second possibility for a given square the "alphas" also appear and you can't get rid of them.
