Right. I've tried saying Hugh's joke out loud, showing it to my dog, translating it into sanskrit, converting it into morse code...and I still don't get it.

Judy you're missing the point, it has been shown that many people read the parents page but they don't all feel the need to comment.

Don't think its the book discussion that bothers most blokes but the endless discussion about the discussion.

I didn't make myself very clear about that, From. I know that there are many who use the Parents page - I do it myself, as it's another chance to do a puzzle. What I meant was that few use it to comment, so there wouldn't be the same issue of a 'takeover' of the page and those who wish to comment having trouble getting a word in edgewise.

Canuck Greg and any other Canuck - many years ago I discovered here in Aust a brand of HOT red peppers produced by a Canadian company, Bicks. I have not seen these for a long time. Are they still available? I admit that I have only seen them in smaller specialty shops and not in the major supermarkets. I have never found another like product as good.

Just have to add a shout out for my victorious EAGLES today!!! Way to go. Yesterday, Penn State was able to get out with a win too, so all in all, a great sports week for me. Uof M also did a great job against Mich State..next week, U of M and Penn State meet, I really don't expect to be as happy about the outcome of that game!

I made the Bacon Tomato Apple soup from the recipe that was posted a few days ago. I can't remember who posted it, and am too lazy to look back and find out, but it was wonderful. Thank you so much.
