Slow connection is the only possible explanation to me getting the top spot from you, Kayo. You are always quick!
Hey Shiela - we're expecting snow tonight. Got the yard picked up as best as I could, but my veggie garden has not been put under yet. Oh well, we always get strange weather this time of year.

Oh, I got the 113!

We had a couple of power surges at work today so it must have happened all over town as I can't get many channels on T.V. tonight. I may have to scan them again.

I didn't really tidy up the yard this year, as I read a story in the gardening section of the paper talking about how interesting the garden is in the winter - the snow resting on the different heights of the old flower stacks and the birds eatting the seeds. So I have left it for my inner child to enjoy this winter season

The answer to yesterday’s puzzle is NOON.

Congratulations to CaptainJ, Canuk Greg, Shosho, Aileen, June, Heidi, Dottie R, HalT for figuring it out. Chris came up with OSSO, which is Italian for bone. Since I didn’t specify an English word, I’ll give it to him. The prize this time is lunch, as soon as I convince someone to make it.

Lets get logical.

Four suspects were brought in for a murder. Here’s the text of their statements to the detective.

Bianca: Josie did it.
Josie: Nah, Nessa did it.
Nessa: No way. It was Caitlin.
Caitlin’s wrong. Nessa didn’t do it.

Two of the statements are true and two are false. Who’s the killer?

2. Name the type of vehicle you would like to have.
3. What song would you like to listen to all the time.
4. Name an More...

Something bold could be Serena's breakfast. I didn't quite figure out the 'top to bottom' part of Serena's puzzle yesterday?
Long night - my father decided to get out of bed by himself at 2 this morning - he is not mobile, so it was obviously a disaster.

That should be EOTW bag, for End of the World. Oops.

everybody.

Glad you were just in time to get your #33, Jerry!

Peter - do Chelsea & family live in Richmond? I can still remember the beautiful bridge there. And I have a very pretty sterling silver open salt, pepper shaker, & mustard pot set that I bought at an antique shop there.

Here is a post from Jane.

Jaime had a terrible night last night, suffering from both heart-related and back problems, so we got up about 1 AM to watch the men's doubles tennis that I'd taped on Tennis Channel. I persuaded him to take morphine (which he'd been avoiding because of More...

HI all! Sorry Mr Cee! I just copy and paste as they say!
To the EOTW goodie bag. Today you are bored and it is raining so time to play a board game/card game/something-on-a-table-game inside with your chosen running mate. What are you going to play and why?

Fiona, that is a no brainer. Monopoly. Good childhood memories, playing for hours, days with my brother and sometimes entire family, on cold rainy days. On cold days, Mom kept an endless supply of hot chocolate, with mini marshmallows for us.
