Have had need of the Flying Doctor in the past - a truly worthy cause - they could certainly do with some new planes!

Does the horse's one foot off the ground indicate that this person died from war injuries? There are many military gentlemen on horses in Washington DC, and when the horse has one foot off the ground that is what it means. All four on the floor = died of non-military causes; two feet in the air = died in battle. This puzzle was easy for me, under eight minutes, a personal best!

Charities--We donated to Mercy Corps and International Rescue Committee. Mercy Corps is based in OR and has low administrative fees. IRC is doing some innovative work with housing in cold, cold, shaken Pakistan.

That's a picture from San Miguel de Allende in Mexico. I took it when down there on vacation this year. It's a statue of General Ignacio Allende. He was captured during battle and executed, so I'm not sure how that fits with the horse's legs in the air.
