I think you're spot on Sarah (C/berra)! I agree, it appears to me to be indeed a sea-dragon (even though its species is a seahorse variant yet, I believe, more primitive) both common to Oz's Great Barrier Reef and nearby surrounds. The subtle differences are not easy to discern. Cheers

OK Ya'll, I'm bummed, I did the puzzle to see this seahorse everyone is raving about, and all I get is a nice China/Japan photo. Which is nice, considering I have never seen anything like this before. But where did the seahorse go? Out to sea?????

For those who do not live in europe like me, the host of this site update sudoku according to his time. that's why we see picture changed in the middle of day. as for me, i saw seahorse yesterday when everybody saw other things... so, good morning, good evening or good night to everyone.
