Topic - what age should toddlers give up their dummy and how do you get them to do it?

When my son, Jack, was 2, we took his dummy and gave it to Santa Claus, so that it could be given to a baby for Xmas. I was never sure what the poor, David Jone's Santa thought of this arrangement, but it worked for us!!! LOL!!!

Hi I can finally lift my head from mid semester assessment cramming! It's wild where kids can sleep. My eldest fell asleep in his cereal when he was a littlie.

Bluey, good idea, with my eldest I think it was between 2 & 3yrs he left it a creche and I told him is was lost and that seemed to be the end of it. I'm hoping it will be that easy with Lachie.
