That looks like an amaryllis. An "apple blossom" amaryllis. They are sold around here for forcing indoors and we sometimes put them out in the summertime, as in the photo, to grow larger, but we must always bring them in overwinter. Where was this garden picture taken?

Amaryllis is the name of a little girl character in "The Music Man" musical. A little boy says her name with a lisp: "Amarillith."

Amaryllis are a photo from last year I submitted. They have rebloomed this year. Plum these are planted in the ground no need to remove them during the winter here.

Sue.. I've never seen Amaryllis blooming outdoors. I've tried planting mine outdoors, but they never rebloom. Or do anything. I am the kiss of death to most plants.

Ooooohhhh. Another pretty flower picture. Sue, I think our winters are just a little more harsh than yours. It must be nice to leave these in the ground during the winter!!!!! My Amaryllis lives in my familyroom!!!

Well Greg, I'm afraid that was pretty much over everyone's head. But don't be too concerned, Judy apparently hasn't seen it yet.

Plum, that little boy who lisped in 'The Music Man' was Ron Howard, aka Opie Taylor, aka Richie Cunningham.

A path:

1) Start at 22, basic techniques to UP=39.

2)Coloring (8):e12=e8-c8=c2-h1=h3,=>df3<>8. UP=81

Hi sotir,
On yours c2=3 ready…
Maybe depth 4 :
8’s : e12=e8 – c8=a7 – a2=c1 – h1=h3 => df3<>8, UP81

Based on Steve’s rating depth 4 chain counted .15, if you use two depth 2 for this puzzle (one color on 8’s : a2=c1 – c8=e8 and one X-Wing on 8’s : ce18) the rating would be 2x(.03)=.06. Sometime needs to consider for this…

Hi sotir,
Sorry, I was wrong...
Yes, depth 3 : e12=e8 – c8=c1 – h1=h3 => df3<>8, UP81

They're normally called Hippeastrum Amaryllis Down Under & they come from Peru. They are members of the Amaryllidaceae family. The ones we call Amaryllis (Amaryllidaceae family) are the Belladonna Lilies aka Naked Ladies (because the flowers appear before the leaves) or March Lilies! These come from South Africa.
