Am I right in guessing that the photo is the big wheel in London? I've only glimpsed it briefly.
Time for bed. Goodnight Everyone.
 |  |

Didn't time myself today - but I alwasy have to guess one - any ideas on the logic?
 |  |
I have been there. A view of the County Hall taken from Westminster Bridge.
 |  |
Help! Stuck on 29.
 |  |
I always have to guess one too.
 |  |
This one seemed really tough. Took forever. Needed a ridiculously long FC.
 |  |
Well, I did this one without guessing. Perhaps I'm improving? Lauren, it's been many months for me, so methinks you just need to keep at it. Eventually everything will 'click'.

26:47 with 1 guess while eating lunch

Well, this one has me beat. Stuck at 29 filled in.
 |  |
Hi erik, today's puzzle is the toughest type among the 5 types appearing here (21->27 type). I needed a 10-fc at 29 filled, I used :

(i2=3)==(i2=7)--(i6=7)==(i6=1)--(h5=1)==(h3=1)--(b3=1)==(b3=2)--(b2=2)==(f2=2)

In words, look at only possibles h5=1,h3=1 in their col. Whether More...

what's the trick?
 |  |
16:25
 |  |
15:20 with two guess, both right... so no mistakes

cheers

Oh my goodness, it took me 25:48 minutes to do this one. It's the hardest one I've done yet. I couldn't find a way and I'm sure I guessed at a few, but I couldn't get a grip even after learning my new techniques.
 |  |
12:37 very hard I had 2 good guesses or mabye it was logic???????????????????????????
 |  |
22:05 With 3 guesses, 1 wrong. Sigh.
 |  |
Really hard. I tried evrything and ended up needing two guesses. Time was execrable!
 |  |
gb - I cannot remember with enough specificity to give a proof at this point, but it was along the same lines as yours. I remember i6 being the focal point, but that is all. I think at one point I had to assume two (somewhat) independent) cells to eliminate a possibility. It is comforting to know that this was the hardest type of puzzle!
 |  |
Wow, 22 minutes in and I am too stir crazy to finish without guessing (so will come back another day and try again). Even with gb's post I couldn't figure it out!!
 |  |
16 minutes. who IS that woman on top of the timer???????
 |  |
hello polly dear
 |  |
WHO IS ON TOP OF THE TIMER SHE IS MAKING ME SICKKK
 |  |
Been there too! Unbeleivable for a girl from a little country town in outback Aus, to live in NY, to work in NY and travel to the London I
 |  |
21:29

A possible finish at 50 filled :
One of a9=4, d9=4, i9=4 is true.
If a9=4 then g9=3 so i9=2 or i7=2
if i9=4 then i7=2.
if d9=4 then c9=1.
So one of i9=2, i7=2, c9=1 is true.
But if i9=2 or i7=2 then i1=1 so one of i1=1 ,c9=1 is true, eliminating c1=1.
Then easy to end.
 |  |
???
 |  |
Got to 29 filled OK then followed through the chain from gb OK. One guess at about 70 I think for which I am ashamed! But it was right- didn't seem to have a problem at 50 which gb referred to. At least I'm 'seeing' places more quickly now. Time for a stiff 'coffee' and bed!
