Hmmmmm - Interesting!

This looked so modern, it sent me google-ing. The anglicized version of his name is Cyril the 6th. He was pope/patriarch of the Coptic orthodox church from 1959-1971. There are movies and photos of him. He was highly respected and quite a following has grown up around his influence since his death. He is regarded as a saint.

I imagine he was Coptic, Dan. This could be one of Wagdy's.

I chose 'grass-hopper' because I had so much to learn about sudoku. The full extent of my ignorance in general has just been hammered home by the fact that I didn't even realise that there was more than 1 Pope. This site really broadens one's scope.

I think Wagdy is still in the US visiting his son and family.
