Yes, I agree. I THINK they are Dahlias, but last time I tried to identify a flower on these pages, I was horribly wrong. (remember the "ginger" ID?)

19:11 Heidi, thought the last flower ID you made was the St. John's Wort. Wasn't that more recent than the ginger, which I honestly can't say I remember.

10:43 I agree with the Dahlia accessment...very lovely and they look so fresh with the moisture on them.
How did I get a better time with puzzle? I was slower with "hard" - oh well - good day/night to all!

Plum... The "Ginger" ID was on the jigsaw site. It was really Lobster Claw! That was 4 or 5 days ago, I think.

Start at 22 filled.
1. Basic techniques to UP 48. Note np 12 at f12, locked 8's at bc4, 6's at hi6, np 46 at ei3, nt 256 at a12b3, locked 6's at a12.
2. fc (4): i3=e3-e4=g4 => g2,i6<>4
3. locked 4's at i123 => h12<>4
4. np 26 at ah1 => f1<>2, i1<>6 UP More...

Another path:

1)Start at 22, basic techniques to UP=48

2)fc:(4)c8=(4)c2-(4=6)d2-(6)d5=(6)c5,=>c8<>6

3)fc:(5)a2=(5)a8-(5=4)g8-(4)g4=(4- 6)e4=(6-2)d5=(2)c5-(2=4)c8-(4=5)b7

=>a8<>5.UP=81

Hi Jeff or ttt,

I have solved the puzzle July 12 in e very short path, but I am not quite sure.Please let me know
your opinion.Thanks.

1)Start at 23,=>UP=26
(note np:de1=37,h14=24,h4g6=24,gi5=18,h5i6=69)

2)Wrap around chain;(49)ef6=(3)e6-(3=7)e1-(7=4)e4
=>e89,f5<>4.UP=81

Sotir, regarding your proposed chain for the July 12th tough puzzle:

The wrap around chain does lead to f5<>4. The chain does not however give us e89<>4 and without this elimination this chain alone does not unlock the puzzle.

The reason it does not forbid e89=4 is More...
