I’ve posted a solution “of our own” to Jan 9. I don’t know how it relates to ttt’s at the Eureka site because I haven’t had a chance to check it out yet. I would appreciate folks checking my effort at Jan 9 -- Alfred?

Yes, it is beautiful, but the more I "see" of the "world" the more I appreciate the fields, forests and farm lands of Michigan. Our natural resources here are remarkable.

And thanks, Sotir, for those YWings pointed out on your Jan 13th.

maen all! nice place...but it looks just like an abandoned phosphate strip mine...especially with the alkali blue water...the florida mines i used to frequent were great fossil hunting, great bass fishing and actually the prettiest hills in the state.

1)Start at 22,=>UP=25
2)English:If f4=4: h6=4,b6=9,b4=6=i5.Middle right box is devoid of 5.=>f4<>4.UP=81
2)AIC:(8=4)f4-h4=(4-5)h6=(5-6)i6=a5-(6=49}b46-(4)ac5=(4)f5,=>f4<> 4.UP=81

Typo: 2)...(5-6)i6 to read (5-6)i5

I'm pretty embarrassed to admit this, but after three or four years of working each puzzle on this site almost every day, I have *finally* solved a tough without guessing.

After basic eliminations, the WXYZ-wing at c4,f4,a6,b6 and the finned x-wing of 4's at i9,i7,b9,b7 and a9 did it for More...

A different AIC to Sotir's, but with the same conclusion:
Basic techniques to UP=25.
(4)f5=(1578)defg5-(158=6)i5-(5)i5=(5-4)h6=(4)h4=>f4<>4. UP=81.
Best regards, Neil
PS: Sotir: I'll look at your AIC as well

I've just noticed that my AIC above has a superfluous bit -(158=6)i5 is unnecessary.
