Hmm, was it just me or did this seem like an easy hard? When I attempt these ones I usually have to make a few guesses, but finished this one without any! I have many fond memories of Catalina Island... when I was little, my best friend's family would sail us over there many times a year...then as a young adult, I helped run a HS summer camp for 16 years. Fun times, beautiful beaches and great diving.

Full proof without using any technical terms except Unique Possibility (UP).
UP from given puzzle: c4=4, c6=9, f3=6.
Pairs 69 at a78; pairs 34 at df6.
Due to 6,7,8,and 9 between a8,d8,e8 and f8, pairs 35 at c8 and i8.
Hence b7=2 or 5; c7=2 or 5 or 7; c9=2 or 3 or 7.
