Very nice solution ! I like your “least deep” than others for elim e7=4, it’s easy for understanding.

Other path as reference, using AICs only
Start at 22 filled – UP30
Note : pairs (89) a23, (49) i56, (78) gh4….
1) 5’s : f1=f78-de9=b9 => b1<>5, UP32
