About half an hour. I forgot to restart the clock after pausing it while writing down the chain of step 3 below :-)

Hi Jyrki.I got to UP28 in step 1 (a3=6),but this has no effect on the rest of your solution,which is concise and efficient.

Beautiful Magnolia, Kate. I'm looking to buy one or two to plant in my front yard. They are quite an expensive plant though. $89 for a 1 metre plant - I'll keep looking.

21:37, that puzzle was a lot easier than I made it! We used to have a hedge of those when I lived in Fiji - magnificent, but I never did like their scent.
