I've got a few photos of the buds on that magnolia this year but they're all gone now - possums love them!

I've seen lots of monarch butterflys over the past month or more right in Victoria on Vancouver Island. Perhaps they are fattening up on our many spring/summer blossoms for their long trip south. What a perfect time for a monarch picture. Thanks to the photographer and Gath.
