A Trial and Error solution from UP=27:
If 6 in b7, forces a 24 Unique Rectangle in cg13, so b2=7. Up=28.
A backdoor - 1 in g9 gives UP=81.
I cannot find any chains less than about 12 steps to prove either of the above.

Sorry a typo: should be b2=6.

9:23, I found this one very easy. Maybe I missed something in the setup but it all worked out without even having to resort to chains.

Just about to join Sudoku Anonymous,when I found step 6. Neil,I don't have too many hang ups about long chains.
1. Note pair 58 at h36.Unique possibilities to 27.
2. If g4=1,i4=6,i7=9=h2,g5=5=b1,b4=3;19 have no place in column b.So g4=6.UP30.
3. If h6=5,g5=1=h9,h2=2,h8=3.Also,h3=5=a8,pair More...

Typo in step 5.d2 should read e2.
