18:12 Maen! That's a lot of instructions for a crosswalk. Reminds me of all the DANGER stickers on a simple ladder for some reason.

A ugly path to solve this tough
Start at 23
1-Basic techniques UP 25 (note : triple 378 at bcd1)
2- e1=5==e1=6 – i1=6==i1=1 – i6=1==h6=1 – h6=5==g5=5 => g1<>5
3- (Quad 2368 at abce9)==e9=4 – e8=4==(triple 235 at def8) – b8=5==a7=5 – a7=7==a4=7 – (pair 27 at b4c6)==b4=3 – More...

greetings ttt,
In step 3 of your proof I don't see how that chain forbids a7,b8,f9=3. What am I missing?
Thank you, Jeff

Jeff(From Maryland),
I hate to speak for ttt, but I think if you use smaller 'chunks' of the first big chain it will eliminate the cells mentioned. For example:

(Quad 2368 at abce9)==e9=4 – e8=4==(triple 235 at def8) => b8 <> 3

and

(Quad 2368 at abce9)==e9=4 – e8=4==(triple 235 at def8) – b8=5==a7=5 => a7 <> 3

I think some of the different things that people take pics of are really interesting, and I, for one would not have the imagination to do so, but I am trying to be more inventive. And as Kate says, they often make great jigsaws, and I am going to find out about this one in a minute! Messy, slow tough today!

Hi Everyone,

Just got rid of a whole lot of junk . Why these people insist on posting here rather than just taking out their frustration on telemarketers is beyond me.

Gath,
I'm not sure who all has incurred your wrath, or if I am an offender. Is it safe to say that the junk posts you're referring to are generally on the Easy page?

Hi Terry,

Yes, the junk was over on easy. However, I didn't want to push the trouble over to the other sections, so I have made it so that you must be a member (free or supporting) to post anywhere.

thank you ttt and Jeff from Wi,

I see the chain logic now. That's the second time I have failed to notice the eliminations from the intermediate links in a long chain and had to ask. Next time I am sure that I will remember to check.

Thanks.
