Unusual to see the broad salt marshes of coastal plains so close to towering mountains. The marshes are usually next to very flat country.

Ian, Those marshes are very similar to the Coastal Plain. However, the nearest mountains are hundreds of miles away.

I'm wondering if it could be NZ- South Island where there are mountains close to the sea and also some DEEP lakes that might warrant such a ship. ... or some large lake WAY up high somewhere ......
