Exactly, Shiela. I could imagine these being "laughing monkey" totem poles, or even a colony of underwater shellfish, but I've never seen a seed pod like them.

Another quickie:
1. Note pair 16 at h4/i5.Unique possibilities to 30.
2. If c2=6=f5,i5=1,c8=7,a9=2;a5 has no candidate.So c8=6.UPs to 81.

Banksias...they could have been an inspiration for some of the plant life in Avatar!

OR: 2)(6=7)c8-(7=2)a9-(2=1)a5-(1=6)i5,=>i8<>6.UP=81

As for Banksia Proteas, I'd rather see a "Pink Mink".

12:12 - My fastest tough time ever ... heck, I sometimes can't even finish them at all without an educated guess. One of these days I'll take the time to learn what lies beyond "basic moves" and what Sotir & Alfred's squiggles are all about.

I'm with you Eric, one day!!
They do look a bit ferocious like that, but they are one of my favoutite plants, interesting, and so salt tolerant, with lovely silvery sides under their leaves.

One of my favourite plants too! When something is so ugly you just can't help loving it! Especially hardy. Drought, salt, fire, nothing worries it.
