Hugh From Canberra; keeping you and your family in my prayers.

Hey Jude - we finally connected! How are you girlfriend? How are all the wild animals up there - you & your husband included!
Keith - that strawberry stuff sounds pretty good! Will have to try it sometime.
Ed - even though I talked to you on the phone, it was still great to see your name in print! Keep surprising us now & then, okay?
 |  |
Hi Nal! Gee this feels like a family reunion or something. So nice to see the old gang again!
 |  |
Ed: So glad you posted. Good to know I still have my Flickr groupies around.
Love to Barb - big hug to you.

 |  |
Water Keith Water!! Drink plenty= before. after in between courses etc...

and Nurn - it's Stottish Scrawberries not Scottish Strawberries.

The recipe evolved a year ago when I invited neighbours over for dinner. We became friends for life that night. I've just returned in the More...

Suzanne; 16 years is too long of a time. You did everything you could. Is NOT your fault.

I remember a while back there was a group of us getting a bus ready to gather all our x-s and send them on a long trip. A one way trip. Maybe we need to do that again.
 |  |
Deb, Thanks for introducing us to all your family members. Your niece looks like she was having fun that night.
 |  |
Nal, can you tell me how I can find your pictures on Flickr (no e?)? Maybe I can post some from our Europe & beach trips there? I need to go check that out.
 |  |
Here it is Kathy. The site makes it very easy to upload the pictures.

Judy, no sympathy needed. I do know whose fault it was.
 |  |
No. No 'e'.
 |  |
NAL: I am now, and will always be, one of your Flickr Groupies! I've never been a groupie, so this is an exciting new adventure! Do you give backstage passes and wild parties for your loyal followers? Yippee!
 |  |
Aw, KEITH. I AM sorry you are under the weather. Maybe I just want you to invite ME next time you go on a strawberry bender! As one great man once said ... I'll bring the napkins!
 |  |
Signed autographs to everyone.
All will receive backstage passes, just be careful where you step - Rocko leaves big presents around back sometimes.
Parties galore - Heat or no Heat.

Kathy; it is good to have everyone back.

I feel like the female (Cuban) version of Keith Richard.
 |  |
KATHY: Wow, it is good to hear from you again! All of us critters here in the woods, furry and otherwise, are just fine. Not too wild, though ... we wait every night until it gets dark so we can go to sleep!

Several folks have hinted that you and I will have to fill up some space, since More...
 |  |
Fi from the highlands - what does stottish mean?? Scotish sounds more interesting... but maybe it's similar?
 |  |
OK bad spelling, but you know what I mean?
 |  |
NAL: As I surveyed your lovely photos on Flickr, I have one observation. To photograph many of nature's creations, you must be in a precarious posture. You have to be one limber, flexible, strong, and spry lady to assume the awkward positions, and then be able to maintain them as you snap the pictures! What a gal!
 |  |
NAL: You are a LOT better looking than Keith Richard!!!!!!
 |  |
I was in the same boat for 19 years. I tried to make it work also ~ because I had made a committment. I thought I was doing the right thing. It wasn't worth it.
 |  |
Wow, Nal, I just went & looked at all your photos! They are terrific! You are a great photographer &, as Judy mentioned, very spry!! Looks like your Mom really loves Rocko, as you all do! He is a beautiful dog. When you have a chance please answer my e-mail & tell me more about your daughter's More...
 |  |
Nal - you will have to find a new busy - remember we sent THAT one on a one way trip to the sun !
 |  |
Darn, Rob is home from tennis. I must go get dinner now. Back later.
 |  |
Nal, just went and looked over your new pics. Very nice. Rocko and Granny, too cool.

Judy, scrawberry bender at the backstage party. I'm on my way, no napkins needed. I'll bring my autograph book.

Nurn, just a guess, but, perhaps you tend to pronounce it Stottish Scrawberries after you've had a few.
 |  |
Hugh - My good wishes and prayers are with your family. It's a horrible experience having such a little one so ill. Is she staying in Tasmania or are they thinking of bringing her over to the RCH ?
 |  |
Nal that should have read 'Find a new BUS'

A dentist noticed that his next patient, an elderly lady, was looking very nervous so he decided to tell her a little joke as he put on his gloves.

'Do you know how they make these gloves?' he asked.

'No, I don't' she replied.

'Well,' he said, 'there's a building in China More...

Hugh – My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family as well.

Ed – Nice to see a post from you again and am looking forward to more.

Mamacita & Warren – Any more takers on a get together?
 |  |
Kathy: I had this looong dissertation ready to send, decided to spell check and the next thing I know the screen is blank! – I’m going back to start all over again.

Judy, Keith, et al: you guys do not see how I walk after taking some of those pictures! I look like Red Fox More...
 |  |
So. . . I figured 'busy' being a new Ausie word. What the heck - I can pronounce busy a lot better than bus.

what a beautiful friendly, smiling face.
have a great day/night one and all

Hugh
thoughts and prayers to your grandaughter and all the family. how 'forunate' that she had a fall which has revealed the tumour. I am sure she is in very good hands and will bounce back quickly.

3:42 Maen all. Overcast and cold here this morning. (Definitely no 'Sudoku in the Buff' for me!!) It looks promising for rain, fingers crossed.. we are in drought here, haven't had any real rain for over 12 months.
Hugh, my thoughts are with you and Shikia and her family.
Nal, checked out your flickr site... brilliant pics
 |  |
Sorry Hugh

I just re-read your post - you can't answer my question I know - cos you don't know yet .
 |  |
hi everyone
thinking of you Hugh. I'm sure she's being well looked after.
haven't made it into chat lately - working all hours. Hope to catch up soon.
Freezing cold here in Melbourne - about to head off for work, but first must find something woolly to wear. Those of you in the warm north - please send us a little warmth... soon!!
 |  |
Thanks Meg! Unfortunately, my family, friends, pets, and other creatures - big and small - within a 1000 km radius of my home hate to see my camera and me! Hubby has learned to drive close to the side of the road where it will be the safest to veer off as soon as he hears 'there! Pull Over!'
 |  |
Beautiful girl...do they send her to you after you complete the puzzle...kidding!!! Anyway, it's hot here...like 95 in the shade and no relief in sight...by the way, I love sudoku...but I'm not ready to give up my Xbox just yet.
 |  |
Very attractive person.Wish we had some of the warmth others are experiencing here for a day or two.
 |  |
3:41 - a woeful effort! Hugh my thoughts are with you and your family at this time. I wish your granddaughter a speedy recovery! Have a wonderful w/end everyone.
