17/Jun/09 11:20 PM

There is a definite difference between a Vanilla Slice, a Strawberry Slice and a Raspberry Slice
17/Jun/09 11:20 PM
 |  |

Yeah!!
17/Jun/09 11:21 PM
 |  |

Broni you would have to refer to an earlier discussion on the multiple meanings of the word 'trunk'.
In a nutshell -
Junk in the Trunk = a big 'situpon'!
17/Jun/09 11:21 PM
 |  |

You got it now Broni?
17/Jun/09 11:22 PM

ewewew Mo, thought we were discussing vanilla slices? That will teach me for commenting before reading.

17/Jun/09 11:23 PM
 |  |

Broni - there is a direct connection between the two subjects!
17/Jun/09 11:24 PM
 |  |

"vanilla slices" and "junk in the trunk", that is.
17/Jun/09 11:25 PM
 |  |

And now I'm off to the grocery store to start buying supplies for the big party. See you later.

Hands, Mouth and Bumsidaisy

17/Jun/09 11:27 PM

17/Jun/09 11:28 PM
 |  |

Hehe Oh Mo you crack me up, now I have cravings for vanilla slice.
Jane hope all goes well for your party, how are the impromptu arrangements going or have you gone!
17/Jun/09 11:30 PM
 |  |

Thought it was...
Hands, knees and bumpsidaisy?
17/Jun/09 11:31 PM
 |  |

Hey Karen would not be pregnant then????
17/Jun/09 11:32 PM
 |  |

So this is what goes on before changeover?
I am strangely hungry.....
I see Mo is having a problem with her bumpsidaisy.
Perhaps a hot soak?

Thanks to hubby, a theory about how TRUNK became the back storage compartment of an auto. The early autos did not have a rear storage compartment, so a trunk (a piece of luggage) was an optional extra that could be strapped to the rear bumper when traveling.
17/Jun/09 11:37 PM
 |  |

Karen is pregnant because she "bumpsidaisied"????
Broni!
17/Jun/09 11:39 PM
 |  |

That makes perfect sense, Tricia. I've seen old photos where there was actually a platform on the back of the car, presumably for luggage.

Judy please stop talking about them. My mouth is drooling remembering the vanilla slice Bean had for our morning tea yesterday.
Heavenly!

BTW I am not actually from Vic, I'm from South Aus, and I have NEVER heard them called that before, and hopefully, will never think of it again!

Mo, be cautious with the expression "junk in the trunk." Among the young in the US, it does NOT refer to an ample rear end. It is used as it was in the movie "Juno," when the main character tells her boyfriend that she likes to watch his junk swing back and forth when he runs the track in his little racing shorts! Capiche?

Broni - actually I haven't gone yet. I realized I had to hard-boil some eggs first. Regarding the party, everything seems to be working out just great! The American Legion hall has been rented, and we can get in there a day ahead of time to set up. The tablecloths I bought for the outdoor More...

Jane, that is fantastic news about all your last minute rearrangments.
Very good of the Bonefish to extend those prices for the whole time, to hear of that sort of generosity is very uplifting.
