Cathy I'm missing a beat here, what are people giving you support for?
 |  |
4:25
 |  |
I don't think Cathy has said what it is - but it is obviously something bad and big and coming the week of Christmas no doubt adds insult to injury.

CATHY: we are all here for you - even the guys

KRP, KRP, riding throught the glen
KRP, KRP, with his merry men
Feared by the rich
Loved by the poor
KRP,
KRP,
KRP.
 |  |
Is this chivalry in action, yer maj?
 |  |
Is Lady Cathy in peril?? Where is Peril?? Is it in country SA?? If it's a nasty dragon, no problem. I will slay it with my trusty sword. If it is emotional needs...well...I have put my support band on and will try and help. Whoa that girdle is tight (said in squeaky voice...).
 |  |
Yo ho Mo. Yes, I am swinging into action ('what sort of party??') and am ready to ....well you know...sort of send a few shekels to the poor peoples of Sherwood by wobbing the rich. Wot wif' christmas comin' an' all.
 |  |
Come now, it's only a support band - you never see Warren Truss crying, do you?
 |  |
Chrissy you haven't missed anything, I just can't disclose what is going on, not till after everything has been sorted? it's really hard to put in to words at the moment, without it confusing all of you, and mo thanks I know that and appreciate it very much. If I am able to I will fill you in with what is going on!!
 |  |
Your nuts! but it made me lol, thanks I needed it, just watch how tight it is oterwise you could end up with a permanent squeak!! and Mo it sort of did a very good friend actually said great timing, but the way my family's luck has been for the last few years it shouldn't surpise me?? that it's happened at this time of the year.
 |  |
We understand, cathy. And our king is on the case. I have seen him in action and I promise you he is fearless.
Do you need our prayers? I already have andre and catherine on my list, I will include you and your family anyhow - we practically know them, anyway, don't we?

 |  |
Are you all caught up with your repairs now?
 |  |
No problem Cathy I am here at your service. As soon as I get this girdle thingy worked out...(girdle first then tights...ah-ha). Let me know what is required so I can brief my merry men for action (they are all in briefs - thought you might appreciate the diversion).
 |  |
I don't know if I should worry now or not no offence KRP! but it is a emotional, not so much physical at least I think it is. Hi Jim glad to hear things are getting back to some type of normallity for you and your son, nothing better than having a Bar-b-que is there on a nice evening, we had one More...
 |  |
Warren Truss.....sounds suspiciously like a rabbit's girdle. And no. I have not seem him cry. Is it on DVD?
 |  |
yes almost know my family, and a great one it is, dispite all of our flaws and everything else they all pitch together in a time of need and crisis, wether it one of us or an outsider? it makes no difference to us. ok got to go soon as sorting through kids old toys, they donate all toys they don't More...
 |  |
So it's Byeeee!!!!! from me will try to catch up with all tomorrow.
 |  |
The last time Warren Truss cried, I imagine BETA wasn't even invented.
 |  |
OK just flipped back through the archives and picked up the thread of things. Hope it all pans out for you and yes, please, if you can, do keep in touch with us. All good wishes with you.

1:56, i have never commented. but i think its cool all you guys kind of have a group going with sudoku.
 |  |
Welcome Gemma. The great thing about this group is that there is bound to be someone with the same interests or experiences as yourself. And if it's advice that you need, or just to talk...
 |  |
first one!
 |  |
3:38. Woo hoo!
 |  |
I absolutely hate soduku puzzles, and if they just had all the answers to them for my class, because it's extra credit to whoever gets it all filled in and right.
 |  |
Gemma- What part of Seattle are you?
 |  |
Breathtaking...
 |  |
good to see Gath is watching the rather...um...more injudicious (plain smutty) comments here. And welcome to Gemma. Now what ails you? We as a collective can repair your car, heal your emotional wounds and even give you a liver replacement and have you back on the beach by Monday. now what'll it be??
 |  |
You are right, Gath is a very responsive guardian angel.
And you must not frighten Gemma, she is too young to have issues.
I have a question for you: if you married QPR would you accept joint invitations (no, not legs of lamb or cigarettes) and then confirm with her, or would you defer to her upfront?
 |  |
Not sure if I fully understand the question. I would be happy to confirm with her but given the distance (and the small teensy weensy fact that I know absolutely nothing about her) this would need careful consideration. I am happy to defer to her upfront, in fact I am quite interested in what she ahs upfront as she is in what is in my castle keep.

Back from Mumbai, very tired, but needed to do Sudoku anyway!

Catherine, very, very sorry to hear of the tragic loss. I will keep you in my prayers.

Dan

3:50 first time below 4 min !!!!!

OK OK OK OK OK OK OK Here It Is (and it was a BIG hit at the 30th party)
INGREDIENTS:
1 x 250g pkt plain sweet biscuits
150g buter (melted)
3 Teaspoons gelatine
1/4 cup water
375g packaged cream cheese, softened
1 teaspoon vanilla essence
1/2 cup caster sugar
 |  |
1 x 300ml carto thickened cream
3 x 60g Violet crumble bars, chopped (or 180g of any choc covered honeycomb but Violet crumble is the yummiest)
extra chopped honeycombe to decorate and extra whipped cream to decorate
 |  |
1. Grease a 24cm springpan
2. Process buscuits untils finely crushed. Add butter; process until just combined. Press buscuit mix evenly over base and side of prepared tin. Cover. Refrigerate for 1 hour.
3. Sprinkly gelatine over water in cup. Stand cup in pan of simmering water, stire until dissolved. Cool mixture.
 |  |
A mere question of etiquette, yer maj. I should have known it would be reduced to a question of your kingthing.
 |  |
4. beat cream cheese, vanilla essence and sugar in a small bowl with an electric mixer until smooth. Beat cream in a separate bowl with an electric mixer until small peaks form. Stire gelatine mixture in to cheese mixture and also the chopped honeycombe; fold in the cream. Pout mixture over the base in tin, cover, refrigerate until set.
