KATHY: We never seem to be 'on' at the same time anymore! I miss you!

I don't think that there has been a recent influx of California sudokuists. I surmise that there have always been a great number of puzzling Californians ... they just don't need to talk as much as those from Florida!! LOL

Jane: Go to the bottom of the page, above the pictures, and click your mouse on ''Chatroom''. Then just type your name and you'll find yourself among people who may become real friends.

I can't believe there are so many nice people out there in such a short space of time. Sorry if I am depressing you. There are a lot worse off than I. I could try to accept it when it happened once. Right now twice is too much. My 24 yr. old last spoke to me 5 years ago and it is a year to the More...

JANE/uk, Please! Please! Please! swallow your pride, and make the first move with your children, even if they dont respond, you will always know (and so will they) that you made contact. Life is too short, you or they could be gone in the blink of an eye. Then, it will be too late. Guts, has nothing to do with it.

4:38 while on the phone. maEn all! Lightening storms moved through the area this afternoon. Lots of homes and businesses lost power and are still out 4 hours later.

JUDY~ Hey, thanks for the post. I'll keep a lookout for your responses.

3:27 - over 3 minutes again... bugger!
Warren, I'm the eldest of 3 children (the youngest being 25). My sister and I would speak to our parents at least 3 times a week, my brother probably once or twice. I see my parents every Monday as they look after my daughter and we'll have dinner with them once a week!
 |  |
wicked sweet
 |  |
Hey now, Judy. I thought you'd take that as high praise indeed. Instead you...wait a minute, you were suggesting...well, I never.
 |  |
Glad you caught that, KEITH!! LOL
 |  |
Harrumph.
 |  |
Good to see you frisky again, KEITH. You have been entirely too serious lately!
 |  |
WARREN- my parents live 5 mins away I speak to them once a week, see them once a fortnight. When I first left home at 18 I hardly ever spoke to them for several years.(my wild years!) My husband speaks to his parents once a week, but his sister calls them at least once a day and we would see them monthly and special occasions, they're an hour away. Hope this helps

Jane, You can only do what you can do. I am learning that too..what I do and do not have control over. You can reach out to your kids, but how they act or react is entirely up to them. I had a bad relationship with my mom until I was in my 30s..so it is still possible the 2 kids that have chosen More...

you guys need to put different puzzles on each time someone beats te one before it
 |  |
Yea, Judy. I was dead serious in the rubber room.
 |  |
Yeah. I looked at depression. I am told that's not the problem. JUST a broken heart. I send texts and e.mail the 2 girls a lot of the time but they tell me that I have ruined their lives. Neither of the girls speak to anyone else in the family either. I wont bore with the full story= so please More...

Very nice...

Jane, you have obviously been struggling with this for a long time. 37 times in court over one divorce must be some kind of record. My wish for you is that you figure out some way to bring this to a resolution so you and everybody else involved can get on with your lives. I wish you the best.
 |  |
are you the same Keith that was in the chat room!!! Where there is money there will be court cases. Keeps the legal teams happy!! They are the only winners. perha[s that is our fault.
 |  |
No, I was not in the chat room. I suspected the lawyers were the only ones benefiting. Sigh. I hope you can figure out some way to bring this to a conclusion that everybody can accept so you can all get on with your lives. Only then can you begin to focus on the future instead of dwelling in the past. I wish you the best.
 |  |
Jane, I have to ask you: when you say you don't want to be here anymore..are you seriously considering ending your life? Do you have a plan?
 |  |
Suzanne. Sometimes I just wish.
 |  |
Jane - my heart breaks for you. All I can say is don't stop trying to make contact, don't give up - ever.

anew - thank you for that - I was getting typers cramp with your name! Before you know it you'll be cracking the 3 minute barrier.

Mickey - poor darl. Get your disco cd's out - More...

I miss Baz & Beehive... are they ever coming back?
Mickey - I'm thinking of you!!!
 |  |
It was Martha and the Vandellas who recorded 'Heat Wave' for Motown, circa 1963.
 |  |
Gath - has Beehive served his time yet? If not, can he be released for good behaviour? I'll personally vouch for him. I have it on good authority that he is looking like Tom Hanks In Castaway and he needs a good shave about now. The ball he has been bouncing in his pound is the size of a ping-pong ball and he is sick of grits.
 |  |
Jane, My thoughts and prayers are with you. Hopefully in some small way we can help you. The caring people on this site haved been very supportive of me. They will do the same for you.
 |  |
Yes, KEITH, you were a major player in the Rubber Room. The image of you bouncing around in your furry sheath has been indelibly and unforgettably etched on my mind!
 |  |
ED: Maybe it's BECAUSE of your gentleness and sweetness that we ARE able to reach out to those who request our support. Love you, Big Guy.

SNORING

Some retired deputy sheriffs went to a retreat in the mountains. To save money, they decided to sleep two to a room. No one wanted to room with Daryl because he snored so badly. They decided it wasn't fair to make one of them stay with him the whole time, so they voted to take More...

Jane From u.k; Gosh! How I wish we lived closer!

Keep e-mailing, just a short 'hello, love you, wish I could hug you' kind of a note. It might not change their ways, however, they will know you never stopped loving them. Just don't give up on life. You have others around you that More...
