I would think teenage and also young adulthood ... for me would be mainly from the late 70's and 80's. but still think we remember music that we had in the home as young kids and tend to reminisce as you get older of all the music you have heard.

Again, very well put rosemary. I have fond memories of music my parents played when I was a kid (Bing Crosby, Frank Sinatra, Big Band Swing), as well as the music I was attracted to as a teen in the 60s, folk music, Beatles, Stones, Jefferson Airplane, etc.

Out here in the suburbs, it seems like I'm the only who brings his plastic grocery bags back to the store to reuse them. Sometimes they don't know what to do with them. I have to explain, 'Use them to bag my groceries.'

Does anyone else out there do this? Do you get the same reaction?

BTW, just got back from a lecture on morality at Harvard. It seems there's a biological basis for it. All species of apes seem to a sense of morality. And most of it is the same across all human cultures.

So maybe we're hard-wired for moral absolutes.

Note that we're talking about people make moral judgments. Not how and whether they act on them.

Gonna be a CPer for a minute. You all have to check out my boy on Youtube. Don't have the URL, but if you search on youtube for Gandhi rap or (misspelled) Ghandi rap, you will find Franklin ('Frankie G') and his friend Nigel...'GWR'..generic white rappers. IT's pretty funny, a rap they made up themselves..

Does this sound excessive from a Honda dealership? $600+ for a 80,000km service on a Honda Civic Sedan that they haven't yet seen? They have said they do EVERYTHING to it, the only thing that isn't working is the interior light...the most I have ever paid for a service before is around $200...

great news that AB has started to settle down, fingers crossed it continues for you and for AB.
Billy
sounds excessive to me, but Hondas are expensive for parts. have you got a quote from a Repco Repairer, Billy we have one here who does a fantastic job at very reasonable prices and warranties are still intact.
