Maen, y'all!

I grew up in the foothills of the NC mountains (great place), but I wouldn't hazard a guess as to the location of this lake. There are more than a few which afford such views. Lovely, isn't it?

What time does the puzzle change over now? I thought it was 10:00 est, More...

2:26 with snow flurries during the night and bracing winter temperatures today. This weekend, the skis are coming out of the basement. Sending positive thoughts your way, Elsa!
 |  |
Pretty. Cold morning again. Had a nice reprieve yesterday with 60 degree weather. Back down to 40's today. Good Maen all.

Nice pic! The Carolina's are beautiful. Whomever the person was that I read wanted some snow you can have ALL of ours in NW PA...I think we were spoiled here in Nov. and Dec. with hardly any at all....But making up for it now! Have a good day! Blessings!

2:38. Beautiful picture of the Smoky Mountains. One can see how they got their name. I spent several summers in those mountains. I loved sliding rock. Of course, it wasn't crowded in those days.

Re: The Corollary
The chance of the bread falling with the buttered side down is directly proportional to the cost of the carpet.
The question has to be asked: How does the bread know?

Instinct, JEB? Bread should have a brain at least as large as that of a bird. Or maybe, in its infancy, sitting at the knee of the Pillsbury Doughboy? :)
 |  |
Judy, don't insult the Pillsbury Doughboy, you might get a rise out of him.
 |  |

Beautiful picture. Ruby, about the zoom thing, I thought, ''How cool.'' But I don't seem to have that feature.

Don't worry, The Doughboy's just an old softy.
 |  |
Kinda early in the morning for smut, ain't it, guys?? LOL
 |  |
well its nothing to do with the bread i presume, rather it has to do something with the brain, that commanded the hand that dropped the bread!!
 |  |
where in NC? Looks like Lake Lure a little.
 |  |

Good Morning, I see we are off to a roaring start today!
 |  |

Good afternoon to all! Nice photo. I always thought that the Pilsbury Doughboy was just an old softy.

Ruby and Keith, right clicking on the Sudoku picture does not have an option to zoom, but there is a workaround; click on 'play this pic as a jigsaw',complete the jigsaw, then if you right click the completed picture you can zoom in.
this works for any picture completed as a jigsaw.

Maen all, beautiful view, kind of looks like home.

Thanks for all the best wishes, everyone. The rest of the day has been going better since this morning. Your positive thoughts are working for me! Day 1 is almost done, and after that only two more to go.

Elsa: What have you been working at, and what types of evaluations are you receiving? Is this a Coop Program that you are in? Just curious.
 |  |
What a pic! Beautiful. Penny, hope your first day of classes are going ok.
 |  |

copy corky, thanks, it worked.
 |  |
Copy Corky, I wasn't very clear was I? That's what I meant. Glad you got the message, Keith.

About the gorgeous view, enjoy it now. NC land and construction prices are low compared to other parts of the country and the climate is moderate. Sites like that are being snapped up by developers primarily for vacation homes. Thirty log cabins just like yours are not as attractive as the More...

Jim from Brandon......Did you just do a typo or are you testing us to see who reads your comments? January 34?

Pretty country. I can hear those banjos clucking now.

another couple of neat tricks one can play on this page;
Holding down Ctrl key and turn the mouse wheel will increase or decrease the numbers in the puzzle. [in Mozilla browser it does the same to text, works for any web page]
To get picture to show without having to complete or re-do the puzzle, click 'show solution'select a number and enter it twice.

Canuk Greg - I'm in training to be an air traffic controller. The evaluations this week mark the end of a 3 month course on Toronto's Pearson airport, the second of three successive courses we're taking here (a year in total). The next phase we'll still be working with Pearson, but there will be More...

All the best Elsa. You've taken on a challenging, but rewarding occupation.
 |  |
Thanks, Ian. Today it feels more challenging than rewarding, but hopefully by the end of the week I'll be able to say the reverse!
 |  |

Elsa, my admiration to you for applying for such an important, yet stressful job.

Hi everyone. Haven't posted for a while, although I have caught up with the postings on and off between having a busy good time. Good luck Elsa. We'll all be barracking for you and wishing you well.

2:51~ like the picture.

I just found out about the U.S political candidates..I guess I missed the posting for that yesterday...
So, here goes my personal thought-
''Announcing, The President, and the First Man''~ mmmmmm, Nah. Doesn't go. AND~ Regardless of equality and Women's Rights. More...

Aileen From California~ Thanks for stoppin' by. I work for jetBlue, an airway company.

The health is coming slowly, but surely. I haven't started a regimen yet, but will soon.
HOW are you?
 |  |

Elsa, some of my best friends are air traffic controllers. When things go pear-shaped in the cockpit it is nice to have a calm, friendly voice helping you - particularly if it is someone you know. Elsa, I'm sure you have been well taught and the evaluations are something of a formality - but good luck anyway.
