Wow! Rose... and Susan! You are good!Actually my birthday was on Friday - 26th... I've got to say that 51 passed reasonably quietly and was not half as much fun as turning 50 - Now THAT was a blast! Still it was a good chance for a glass or two of pepperjack and some "lively" discussion.:) Was that the Pepperjack talking?

Eve
wongerful (note 'f' and 'd' are side by side on a keyboard) is a typo that happened in the chatroom one night and we adopted it as our special word.
as Fi says definitely 'wongerful'

Thanks Rose for the explanation - couldn't find the word in my dictionary.

Rosemary, the 'd' and 'f' are next to each other on the keyboard, but the typo is a 'g' for a 'd'. I think you should claim that it was no typo, but simply the brilliant creation of a word....'full of wonger,' and leave it up to people's imaginations as to what 'wonger' might be.

Oh well the wind has died down hear Gail. Has it died down in Cockatoo.
28/Oct/07 6:10 PM
 |  |

Gday Caza, yeah, the wind has died down plenty. The power was out for hours so we ended up having to go out of the area for take-away because the whole district was blacked out. While we were out, there were seventeen drops of rain! There were branches down all over the place, in fact, one fell onto a seat in our garden and completely destroyed it! I am so glad I wasn't sitting there at the time.

We've had very strong winds here since Friday night and they have finally gone. I even walked on the beach yesterday in rain, strong winds and hail but enjoyed it.

Hi Anne - do you realise it is exactly a year tomorrow that we actually met in person for the first time? I don't know about you but I think it has been the fastest year in my life. Don't remember having rain or strong winds during our visit to Albany.

Lovely photo, but looks a bit cold, bleak and uninviting in my opin...hope all are having a Super day. My last week was spent in watching the website giving last minute spottings and evac areas for the wildfires in southern California. One of them got within 3.5 miles of my 89 year old Daddy's home...very nerve wracking, but they're fine now and the worst is the cleanup ahead...so thankful!!!

OK -so I figured backwards, Sudoku time is now 8 hours short of 1 day & will be 9 hours short next week (rather than 6 & 5 short - my original calculation).

It is now after 6 am (PDT) and Sudoku time is after 10 pm. That means it will be 8 am More...
