I am a crossword keeper too. The cryptic the better.
Steven, myself and both our late mothers were all Telegraph crossword doers. Steven is the anagram king though. He looks and sees, me, I have to write down the jumbled up letters.

Are there any online sources of free cryptics?

Plum - none that are as good as having time to sit with the morning paper and a cup of tea/coffee doing the cryptic. Oh, and the satisfaction of getting it finished. That's my Saturday morning, without fail. I do nothing until my cryptic is done!
