Looks like we're all abandoning the site this weekend! I am heading back to my home town to belatedly celebrate my oldest sister's 60th birthday.
The best bit is two of my daughters are coming with me because they would love to see their Nana. I think they realise just how elderly my folks have become and we had a close call with Mum late last year so the time is right.

I've lost connection again

Col: Half of me is asleep and the other half is browsing Sudokuland. The half of me that is asleep is quite quickly dead, rather than dreaming. I would be completely dead were it not for Sudokuland. That is what receiving big bills does to me.

Not one big bill - but three big bills in one week

I would sell my shirt, but a botton is missing.
I would sell my slippers, but the soles are falling off and they flap as I walk along - as if they are talking to each other. Perhaps they are talking about the dirt on the kitchen floor - who knows! Whatver I think they are heading for the waste bin where they can chatter as much as they like.
